everyone that says marijuana is TERRIBLE for you is ignorant. First off, you can't overdose. It is not physically possible. Not a single person has died from use of marijuana. Only when idiots smoke it and do stupid things do they cause accidents,etc. Next, when smoked occasionally it can actually help your physical abilities in certain things. Hell, i'm a swimmer that could probably kick your ass in just about any sport or endurance challenge. The #1 swimmer in the east coast smokes a little bit before EVERY race. It helps him calm down, has his muscles relax, and helps him get in the mind set to swim fast. Everyone has gotten brain washed by society that marijuana is the worst possible thing for you. It is 1000000000000x better for you then cigarettes and alcohol, yet those two things are legal.

I can go on and on if anyone wishes.

#1: April 20th was first and foremost noteworthy for marijuana. It was because it was for marijuana that the columbine shooters did it that day (or so I heard). Hitler's birthday is a coincidence.

#2: Tokzic, you have a very skewed opinion on the matter. Your opinion, while somewhat valid, is tainted by personal experience, just as much as the average person's opinion is tainted by propaganda.

#3: It probably is against the rules of the sport, but using marijuana wouldn't give him an edge like steroids or something. If anything, it'd hinder his performance. Mellow him, sure, but he I'm sure that he'd actually be slower and less strong.

How is my opinion tainted by personal experience? I don't like marijuana because I hate not having control of my mind. Not because IT DAMAGES YOUR BRAIN AND LOWERS YOUR SPERMCOUNT AND TURNS YOUR SKIN GREEN

Also, I find it funny when marijuana users try to act like there's absolutely no negative effects. Okay, so it isn't as bad as we're told it is in health class, but know anyone who's permafried? I'm certainly glad I have the guarentee I'll never look like I'm mentally challenged for the rest of my life.

EDIT: wow grandia i totally forgot that if i disagree with you im wrong but of course i am you're totally informed about everything and right all the time

You know, a lot of people say they smoke pot because they enjoy it so much, but I can think of quite a few other things I could be doing that woudln't hurt my health.

A lot of people I know tell me I should start smoking to help with my problems. To ease the pain, if you will. Well that seems like completely backwards thinking to me. If you start smoking, sure, you may forget about your problems temporarily, but then there's the possibility of getting addicted and all the health problems that come with it.

A better idea would be to actually try and solve the things wrong with your life. Rather than just trying to ignore them.

And people have to stop being so biased about these kinds of issues.

Like **** people, half of you are saying that weed is the greatest thing thats ever happened to mankind and the other half is saying smokers should be burned at the stake.

For every one person who deals with these issues with an open mind, there are 10 people who are saying "lol pot ownz" or "pot smokers are the scourge of the earth".

Can we find some neutrality here please?

An opinion on a topic such as this should be developed through impersonal research. It's an opinion, yes, but it's not one which can be debated effectively.

That would be an example of irresponsible drug use. I don't condone that at all. In fact, driving at all while under the influence is a terrible idea and I don't appreciate you making light of this matter.

Ok and while your at it, anyone who drinks, anyone who drives tired or anyone who talks on their cell phones. Almost anything can be abused, but weed doesn't have to be.
