Since we're on the topic of Cartoon Network, am I the only one who isn't thrilled about Toonami's return?

Re: Really Cartoon Network?....
imho tho you guys are fussing about pointless shit. Cartoon Network airs a show based on a youtube show that was average at best...and? Television airs bad/sub-par shows all the time. why is the internet up at arms about it? it's not a big deal, and besides the show was targeted for young kids anyway so why get upset? Go watch something else, or better yet, as a manager of a small drive-in restaurant said to us as he kicked us out for being drunk,
"Go play outside kids." |

Re: Really Cartoon Network?....
no a2p this show is poisoning our youth and parents everywhere sit back and do NOTHING, i mean, they let their kids watch something as disturbing as this ?? or something as stupid as Ben 10 I mean REALLY. come on parents, you are killing our future. I FOR ONE blame society for this huge lapse of judgement on the recent programming on television. Hannah Montana? O M G, come on people. that is SO unrealistic. madagascar 2 and 3 are bad and you should feel terrible. these shows have no substance whatsoever. i say kill all the shows especially the ones geared more towards adults and bring back barney and out of the box, now those were some quality shows. shows should have singing and love and realness not little weirdass fruits with faces OK i rest my case

Re: Really Cartoon Network?....
I watched south park and all sorts of messed up S*** when I was a kid, I turned out fine. Instead of controlling your kids(which kids hate and is the reason they usually rebel) You should just be there for them as a parent and make sure they understand how the world works and what is right from wrong. Chances are they are going to hear way worse things from school because kids are just brutal sometimes haha. What are you gonna do, shelter them and put them in private school their whole lives? Sure your kid might turn out great if you do that, but at what cost? You can be just as successful with a normal life and actual parents who care, and you wouldn't be socially retarded. This doesn't always apply, but it is mostly true. Parents these days are just to terrible usually. They spend all their time trying to control their kids and parents are usually just biased about everything as well. Parents just need to realize who their kids really are and help them as best as they can without being tyrants. This is also kind of hard since half of America is retarded, but it's still a simple concept. Just saying

Re: Really Cartoon Network?....
I might not like the concept of the show, and I might dread hearing the name of the character itself. But there is nothing you or I can do to prevent this show from happening. And, you know what? So be it. Someone out there will enjoy it for the time being, and that is perfectly fine by me. I just know I won't be watching it.

Re: Really Cartoon Network?....
The fanbase must be big enough to entice Cartoon Network to get it on their channel. A good business move on their part. Not going to be watching though.

Re: Really Cartoon Network?....
I think a lot of parents do kinda just stick their kids in front of the tv and rely on school to teach them the rest. It's what it is though. My sister pretty much does that with her kids, and they're really sharp. Just behind on some things, and have other bullshit blocking their way, but that's like anyone. Of course you can't blame networking for issues like these. However I do find the shows to be for the most part completely retarded. that doesn't mean kids wouldnt get a kick out of it tho. I find that stuff matters a lot less to kids than it does to adults. its like water off their backs to see retarded shit and laugh at it lol. they're learning either way. Not really like they are going to see it the same way we do
still i think cartoon network wants them to be stoners

Re: Really Cartoon Network?....
lol, there are plenty of other things on TV that are fucking up kids lives and the cartoon channels are far from being one of them.
