SAO II
For now... I would rather watch all of the show at once, so i usually wait a few weeks to start more.

I'll watch it real quick i guess, Mecha is one of those genre's I've barely touched. But anyway, are you looking for something this season, all seasons, and while we're at it do you have a list somewhere of shit that you've watched because that would probably help. While i watch this, Here are some prelim suggestions. Probably not exactly what you're looking for and you may have seen these. Both of these series are great either way (according to my own biased taste): Last Exile Space Battleship Yamato 2199

Re: Anime Summer Season 2014
Don't get me wrong. Being bisexual I find both of these shows appealing. Rebirth on the other hand is not enjoying it.
I'll probably even pick up the manga because I've been looking for more things to read on my nex7. |

Re: Anime Summer Season 2014
Well after I saw this pic from another site, needless to say I was not disappointed. Also looking forward to Akame ga Kill! Mixed feelings with SAO II Toyko ghoul is surprisingly great. That is all. |

Re: Anime Summer Season 2014
I'm watching a few too many things this season tbh. (barakamon, dmmd, fairy tail, free! eternal summer, glasslip <- tho probably dropping, haikyuu, love stage, persona, re: hamatora, sailor moon, space dandy 2, sao2, tokyo ghoul, tokyo esp, zankyou no terror)
But the two I'd recommend most are Barakamon and Zankyou no Terror. I also can't tell if Tokyo Ghoul is good or not... people who have read the manga are upset about the pacing and there only being 12(?) episodes. But since I haven't read it, it seems okay to me.

Re: Anime Summer Season 2014
So far I'm watching
Barakamon, Locodol, Hekkan Shoujou, Hanayamata, Himegoto, Jinsei, Love Stage, Mouhou Shoujou Taisen, Rokujouma no Shinryakusha, Space Dancy 2, SAO 2, Psycho Pass. I plan to pick up Akame ga Kill and maybe whatever else. It really doesn't take long to watch airing shows. Even this many is only a handful of hours a week. |

Re: Anime Summer Season 2014
Just watching Hanayamata for now since the others don't really interest me atm.
It's cute, typical all-girl subtext yuri animu, which is what I need. Also all of the blushing.

Re: Anime Summer Season 2014
Nothing looks worth watching this season. I'll have to wait until fall.
I'm not too interested in all this loli/comedy/school life/sao. Oh well.

Should try Barakamon then maybe. It is none of those things. It is serious.

Barakamon and ZTerror are turning out to be my favorites
I was expecting Tokyo ghoul/Akame to be but nah SAOII is slowing growing into me. They sure did a really good job reenacting starwars. 3 hour long plot->10 minute litesabur akucion. FatestayLoliperopero is my secret pleasure noone should know I watch |

SAO II is kind of just one of those shows that you know is stupid and corny but its enjoyable anyway. I think one of the biggest problems is putting in emotion and feeling in inappropriate places considering the setting of an MMO. It mostly made sense in the first arc when people could actually die, but the rest of it other than people who actually might die to death gun don't make any sense. Kind of like Sinon getting embarrassed about her avatar being in her underwear... Wat? Last edited by Izzy; 08-5-2014 at 03:57 PM.. |

Re: Anime Summer Season 2014
Yea I gave up on the seriousness. It just cannot be done with 24 episodes.
Im good with mindlessly enjoying the mc's pseudo intelligence ps. I forgot to mention space dandy. Idk why, I can sit through that show so easily. Finished S1 right after watching the 1st episode S2, how. |
