Need help buying a metal pad
After my cobalt flux has sadly met its demise, I've been missing playing actual DDR/ITG for a long time and would love to get my hands (or feet) on a new metal pad. I've searched long and hard through google search and various online marketplaces with no luck. So, can anyone help me find a metal pad for purchase?

Re: Need help buying a metal pad
Sadly cobalt flux no longer makes or sells pads. Most other brands of pads like iON have extremely mixed reviews. I've never personally owned a metal pad, but I bought an ITG dedicab, and honestly you can find cheap DDR cabinets for under $1000 and just fix it up.

btw I'm 15 and can't get a job if I try, so $1000 is out of the question. Right now i have about $350 to blow and I could probably get an iON, but I don't know if i should trust them. Maybe I'll get a dedicab next year after I get a job...

Re: Need help buying a metal pad
I saved over 70% of my checks for a year. It doesnt take that long. Especially if you get a job at 16.
Also if want an ITG dedicab dont expect to pay under $4000. DDR Extreme cabs sell for 1-1.5k sometimes.

could always try ebay.com or amazon.com both very great places to shop for things that may be more in a actual store.

Re: Need help buying a metal pad
Use google to find a craigslist searcher (example: http://www.adhuntr.com) and search for Cobalt Flux. Patience and persistence, and you eventually will find one for sale near you. Stay away from e-bay, as there is usually only one pad up at a time and hundreds of people will see that listing.
