that's exactly what it takes! i've been playing 6 years intermittently, and i've only just started playing regularly. i've been FCing 8s & a few 9s recently
but i'm curious how toxic was allowed on. i guess i always assumed B. Spears wrote it but i guess not. Did she just do a cover? cuz this version is a lot better than hers |

The Colorstream in Prism had jumps to each bass/low pinched piano tone you hear before, but I removed them afterwards, because I though it'd be a bit too much of a difficulty jump

I'll try these files probably this weekend when I don't have much homework to do. Of course "not having much homework" is an underestimate so who knows.

I hate rainbow files. e.g. over 60% of all new files post-revival -.-

Prism: kinda tricky. What's with all of the color changes? It seems like the time signature is fairly constant in some sections yet the chart is having a rainbow-gasm. Took me six tries. Low 10. Very fun though, nicely done - Xayphon.
Toxic: judged this - a bit repetitive, but nothing really bad. Drifts slightly early still, so I'm assuming the sync wasn't readjusted. What the f is this: colorful, bursty, but very flowing. I actually sightread this one. I personally think it's a high 9, but I wouldn't be upset about this being changed to a 10. Love, The Elephant: Fun for a 5, albeit a bit on the higher side of the 5s. Good syncopation to the melody in an effort to keep the chart down. Enjoyable. |

Thank you so much for that review. This is what I was going for when stepping the piece. It maybe wasn't perfect and also a tad under stepped, but I tried it anyway to see what people thought. I hope it was worth it :')

Re: New Songs: October 27th, 2011
I struggled on "wtf" more than Prism but they are both challenging to some degree. The colors in both Prism and wtf caught me offguard many times but they were both well stepped.
Felix, cute file <3 I can see this being a 6. Toxic's repetitive jumps irritate me but it's a fine file. Nice job you two! Can't wait for next week's batch! |

The other solution is to get the sheet music from the artist and then place the colors accordingly. I did this with my Rainbow Road file and it helped a lot. Thirdly you can custom edit the colors of the arrows in the flash file after conversion; this is what Rebirth did with Grand Galop Chromatique. Also work-intensive.

Prism sucked. I'm sorry. I hated the sync of the file and it made me not want to play the other 3.
You also have enough time to talk about them... On this website lol. Sorry if im doubleposting.
