Up in New Hampshire we have april vacation this week. I came down to Florida and it's really fun. Today I went parasailing. Has anyone else done cool stuff like this?

RE: parasailing
I went Parasailling at Myrtle Beach, you cannot parasail from New hampshire to Florida, try a few years worth of time, by then you world ie of thirst and hunger and the boat would run way out of gas.
Parasailing during spring vacation was awesome!! |

RE: parasailing
First of all, it woldn't take a year, not even a month.
The boat could have gas onboard. and there could be a mini-fridge in the harness next to you. Parasailing was ok, nothing special. |

RE: parasailing
Shut up Tps, and yes you would die eventualy even if there was food in a mini fridge in your harness becuase then what happens when you run out of food!! and water!! You can't go and unclip yourself to drink ocean water considering it is full of salt and will only make you thirstyer. But yes i love heights so ofcourse i loved Parasailing. I wish to go skydiving though.
Tps is my brother so i have the right to tell him to shutup |

RE: parasailing
It would only take a week tops. It only takes half a day to drive.

RE: parasailing
It took a day for me to drive on a coach bus, but I'm from New Hampshire so it's further probably.

Paintball, KOL is Kingdom Of Loathing, a website with a RPG game.
Back to topic, how many of you want to Parasail again? Deku, it was not a good idea to post something pointless like that. Don't start a flaming and start people to flame, sorry if i sound harsh. |

RE: parasailing
I would rather para-chute then parasail. I request this thread to get locked for going nowhere, and pointless spamming.

RE: parasailing
I don't know much about parasailing, what happens if you lose your strength after gliding for a minute or two, you fall down and die? lol

RE: parasailing
It's not hang-gliding.
Parasailing is when you are attached to harness, like rock climbing, which goes around your legs. You are then attached to clips that are attached to a parachute. The boat starts to speed up, and you get lifted up, dangling from straps 300 feet above glassy ice cold water that would shatter you like glass. You sit there, look around, then come down. Kinda boring. Skydiving sounds much more fun. |

Your body detects acceleration and deceleration, not speeds. Think about it. Right now we're hurtling through the galaxy at thousands of miles per hour, but we don't feel it because we're not accelerating or decelerating. Now, a change in acceleration can be a change in direction without a change in speed. So, if your driver spins you around a lot and makes significant turns, this could have a powerful impact on your direction - it'd swing you around like a weight attached to the end of a string. But, going in a straight line, that would just suck. I can imagine the most fun would be going up, though. I'd like to go skydiving someday - maybe I should go parasailing first. |
