happiest day of my life
A couple of weeks ago i was arrested for doing something stupid but today was the actual court date to see whether i was going to have another felony on my record making that 3. But for some bizzare reason the judge decided to put me on probation for 4 years instead and i'm still able to get my license when i turn 19. Anyway the point i'm trying to make is had i been sentence with what i thought i was going to be sentenced with i would've spent 5 months in jail and my license would be revoked until i turned 25. I've never felt the weight fall off my shoulders so nicely.

I'm not really going to feel happy for you yet because from the sound of the original punishment you did something bad and you most likely deserve to go to jail. People don't tend to learn by getting let off of punishments.

What I want to know is how he already has two felony counts and didn't get thrown in jail with that kind of record. And yeah, what did you do?

Re: happiest day of my life
I guess not, but if he didn't want to talk about it, why would he make a topic about it?

Re: happiest day of my life
America's justice system is so great. 2 felonies already on his record and he gets off with probation for a felony offense. Fair.

How could g4z33b0 not be using sarcasm?
It's OK. korny has shown he's prone to committing felonies. If he's so happy to be getting off with four years probation he'll probably end up breaking it. It doesn't appear he's learned his lesson.

Re: happiest day of my life
This isn't a flaw in our justice system. Clearly the judge had a good reason to give him probation instead of throwing him in jail, so I'm not going to doubt the decision.

Re: happiest day of my life
I turn 18 in 25 days and I didn't leave my thread. I haven't had access to a computer til now. My friend and i were walking in downtown dallas and this cracked out black guy walks towards us and hits my friends shoulder with his as hard as he could and yells at him telling to get the **** out of his way so i turned around and asked him if he thought he was bad or something and he said he was gonna stick me and pulls out his knife and so i pulled out my switchblade and told him to try and stab me so he swings his arm around to hit me in the face but i stuck my arm out and stabbed in the palm while his other arm swung around and nearly knocked me out . Then the cops showed up and the black guy ran and got away while i went to jail. I had the worst headache for 4 days and my face looked messed up haha.

Second off, I think that's pretty reasonable that you only got probation, but it still sounded like you were kind of bringing him on. |
