Re: Official FFR Subscriptions Shop
i don't know what you guys are talking about. i started working at 12. worked at day camps in the summers when i was 12-15. also worked at a library and a deli from 14-15. then start working as a bank teller at 16.
get a job instead of complaining about not having a job.

Re: Official FFR Subscriptions Shop
Lone: I worked at my synagogue's summer day camp from 12-14, working with 3 year olds. It wasn't amazing, and the pay wasn't very good... but it was something. At 15, I got a similar position at a normal day camp, again at little pay, but with older kids.
At 14-15, I also worked at my synagogue's library and at a local deli, working as a bus boy but also doing illegal things like slicing meat. Pay was at least minimum wage at those 2. Then the bank at 16, which was pretty damn sweet... since most banks won't hire until 18. I think my maturity and long resume to that point was what made them decide to hire me anyway.

Re: Official FFR Subscriptions Shop
LoneWOlf, I've had a job since I was 14, and am working a second one now at age 16. Chances are good you'll get hired if you are 14/15. Try McDonald's or some other fast food place.

Re: Official FFR Subscriptions Shop
i talked with the manger at BK, he said you can be 14 to apply, but theres such little hope of being accepted at that young age.

Re: Official FFR Subscriptions Shop
yeah, the f**king economy is so bad down here in NC that most places aren't even considering anyone under the age of 20 or so
