R/\IN not loading - Page 2

someone fix r/\in plz i've been working for about a week playing all the songs... i want the token

I can't play R/\IN either. It gets to 97% and then just stops. And I only noticed it after it did the same exact thing when I tried playing Lawn Wake I. I should check if the other songs you guys mentioned won't work for me either.

OK, this is weird. The minute I left this forum after my post, I tried those songs again and they worked this time. Does that mean it's fixed or just dumb luck on my part?

Like I said, the issue will fix itself over time. Just wait patiently until it fixes itself or Synth finds out what is wrong.

To the admins: Run a checksum test on at least the files in question. At least MD5 on the original and MD5 on the machine you copied them over to and see if those MD5 sums match. My guess is they will not.

If they don't match, then checksum test everything, and note what doesn't match. Anything that doesn't match needs to be copied over again.

Also one aspect of the songs which don't load is resource usage SPIKES as soon as it stops loading. And the songs which don't fully load consistently don't load and include all of the ones mentioned here (as well as probably others too). Consistently AND reproducible (those exact files too) by multiple people using different engines and different operating systems.

Still doesn't load for me. Add "Comptine D'un Autre Ete Techno Mix" and "Rumia, Sealed Youkai of the Night" to the list as well.

How did you get it to load? Did you use a different computer? Because if the files are corrupted (and I'm not saying this is for sure the case) then the only way they would load would be if they were already cached on your machine prior to the switchover. This is why I am guessing some people can load these files but most people cannot -- because it's in their cache from before it got messed up.

Again I don't know if for sure this is the problem but I'd highly recommend admins use a checksum test to verify. A hard drive integrity test to check for bad sectors couldn't hurt either.

hXcalltheway, I know you're frustrated, but please try to be constructive and helpful rather than provocative. There is a real problem which needs fixing here, and we don't need this thread locked and ignored. I don't think you want that either.

nah, same computer. i did clear the cache yesterday but that didn't change anything.
and some of the files still won't load for me

Add Elektric Shiivers to the list.

Oh and it's the CPU usage which shoots through the roof whenever one of these fails to load. Shoots up to 99% and stays there.

Elektrik Shiivers wont load for me. even if i use other versions of flash and clear all my cache's. I want to get that last damn token :/

I've been having issues with {Paranorma} not loading.
I tried like 20x I swear and it never gets past 96 -_________-
And also for Mother of God, it stopped at like 95.

Just an FYI, I've been dog sitting and the computer I've been using at this house hasn't had any issues loading songs so far...so like someone before, could be an issue with cache already on our computers or something of that matter(I don't know too much about this shit).

Finally did get Electrik Shiivers to load and then made sure I got that token (because who knows when I'd be able to get it to load again)

I let it load until it stops loading, let it idle about 15 seconds, reloaded the page, selected the song again, and it worked.

Tried that same thing on {Paranorma} and couldn't get it to work though. But where it sticks can change when doing that from average 96% to as high as 97% or as low as 94%. Unfortunately if you let it idle too long it could crash your browser, so catch-22 on this idling/reload luck-based workaround.

If you can get one of the problem files loaded though, I'd highly recommend playing it a bunch of times in a row and try for the best score you can because you may not be playing it again for a while.

Add Tribal Attacker aswell. It gets to 97-98% then just stops loading.

12 Bars Bloop will close ur standalone for some reason... Ketsarku Mozgalom won't load, EHHS etc... I wanna improve my scorse on those song! >:O

P.s. this has been going on for me for 2 weeks

EDIT: add BB revenge to the list 97%
EDIT 2: I talked with Velocity about this but he didn't even give me an answer...
