Re: Maplestory v2
Auto-application will apply stats based on when you need them. This is dependent on your current stats as well, so stat bonuses can effect how auto-application will apply your stats. In short, auto-application will apply your stats based on the recommended (i.e., default) stat build of your class. Following auto-application should give you the stats recommended for you to wear your class equipment. However, if you want higher damage output you'll have to follow an unrecommended build which usually requires pure stats of some kind and using common equipment in place of class equipment.

Re: Maplestory v2
the only stat you should add as a warrior is STR. auto ap will add dex equal to whatever would be the current double for your level. since you dont need dex anymore, its useless. also, ap resets are expensive. i think theyre about 3-4k NX to buy.
edit: btw warriors are the only class who can go pure str now and still wear every single piece of equipment they need Last edited by chocobothief12; 02-2-2011 at 12:13 PM.. |

Re: Maplestory v2
So did I just waste 40 sp points on dex? Do I not need it at all?

Note that these equipment are not cheap. They are fast 2 handed swords. However, it's best to not go the route of adding dex for such equipment, because they'll eventually get replaced by a higher level equipment that tends to be cheaper. Referring to the end of game weapon, though. I would say that getting a 2 handed sword that requires dex would be a bit useless if not provided the funding, and if you have a lot of funding it would still prove useless because going a 1 handed route is more powerful when accompanied with a shield. You said you made an Aran? I don't know of any other equipment besides 2 handed swords that require dex for warriors, so it probably shouldn't even be put on dex at all. |

Re: Maplestory v2
Well, I got my pure INT cleric to 30 and got through the job advancement. Now, I'm going through the Mushking Empire quest string again. I'm going to have so much fun! /sarcasm
No seriously, I hate the Mushking Empire quest string. It's going to take me forever as well; clerics don't necessarily have high damage output. But, it's good EXP... what can ya do. :/ |

Re: Maplestory v2
I'm so pissed off that I have to restart. The game clearly tells Aran's to sprinkle dex every level. If they don't need it then why would the game tell me to use it?

Re: Maplestory v2
It's because the game doesn't take into account the new accuracy formula. warriors only needed dex to hit things pre big bang. Now all they need is str.

Re: Maplestory v2
Don't worry it's not hard to level anyways, I'm sure you weren't that far of a level when you started. I restarted last night and I'm already level 22.

Re: Maplestory v2
Well I would add everyone but I'm just dust lol. I'm usually the one mostly on all the time, so it would be better if I was doing the adding, since a few of the members get on and there's no one around to let them join.
edit:fire tusks are in the clock in new leaf city. i think they are 3 or 4 rooms in once you actually get to the 1st room with something to kill |
