need to get back into it...fast
ok here's the scoop.
I'm a musician, I took to DDR FAST. I never played it to religiously, but I really enjoyed it and got pretty good. However, with various other aspects of life taking over, I am sooooo out of practice (like several months at least since I've been able to play it more than once). I tried to do some songs that I used to kick ass on and now...well...lets just say that its obvious i'm out of practice. But i've finalyl got myself settled and got the time to get back into it. The student union at my college always carries the latest DDR version, so availability isn't to much of a problem. However, I hav noooo urge to go through the whole embarresment of getting into it again. Any suggestions? I don't have a problem witht the basics here. Beat and memorization are my forte. Its just getting going again thats making me drag my feet.

I had the same problem...you know how I solved it? I entered a DDR tournment. I got 3rd place out of 7. That isn't bad considering it had been the first time I had played in 3 months.
Just dont doubt yourself. Just play and before you know it you'll be good as new. |

eh, thats moderatly workable. I'm improving pretty steadily again, so hopefully i'll be back to old form in a few weeks.
As for a tournament...nuh uh. Like half the ppl who use the machine at our university right now are previous champs. Maybe in a month or so.
