PS2 Game Suggestions
So, I've had my PS2 for years but I don't have that many games and am looking to expand my meager collection.
I've enjoyed such games as Kingdom Hearts I and II, Devil May Cry (only really liked the first one but didn't play the third) and more recently Genji (short and easy but still fun). I'd really like to buy some more but I really have no idea what to look for in terms of action games... Also, I'd consider playing a turn based (or whatever) RPG but I really don't have time to level for hours. An FPS might be okay. I have Timesplitters...

Re: PS2 Game Suggestions
My favorite PS2 game of all time is Shadow of the Colossus. Not sure if you'd like it or not though.
Some other good ones in my opinion are Citizen Kabuto, Virtua Fighter 4, and the Jak and Daxter games.

Sounds cool. Read a review that says the puzzles are impossibly hard without a guide...

Baldurs Gate: Dark Alliance/2 (Hard to find the second one)/Champions of Norrath/CoN: Return to Arms.
Both series are bewilderingly fun, especially if you have someone else to play them with. And I'm a huge fan of all the Ratchet and Clank games. I just picked up Okami, but I have yet to play it (as I am going through Baldur's Gate II at the moment.)

Oh yeah. Those are rare, but they're pretty fun. Talking about Dark Alliance and Champions.

Re: PS2 Game Suggestions
I think Ace Combat 4, 5, and Zero are all pretty good and worth checking out. Get Madden 08. Jak and Daxter is a pretty sweet Action/Adventure game, all 3 of them that is.

Re: PS2 Game Suggestions
Burnout Revenge- fun racing game with cars crashing into each other into walls
Any of the Metal Gear Solid games Rogue Galaxy- still pretty new. Unique real-time combat rpg with cool special attacks. Also has a weird skill learning system: think license points in FFXIII but using items intead. Katamari Damacy! It's a fun game with a pretty weird style. And I mean really weird. |
