Important update about Windows Media Player
In the latest update for the Win 7 version, bpm info is now encoded in mp3 files that you download and play through it. Sadly, this is not retroactive--that is, files in your library that you had before the update will not have this helpful info added in. Try downloading it again and see if the copy has that important bit, I guess...?
Just remember, it's an average over the whole file. Rock music and live performances in general will still be a pain in the ass to sync, but this should at least give you a good idea of where to start. |
