Because it's a beautiful expression. Gotta express yourself to the fullest extent so fellow forum goers can see just how expressive you are about your opinions.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 [Regular batch: OPEN]
Looking at what files I have finished, I will aim to have my Jan/Feb batch include:
The lost Oprah Shmup ethken Hatsune Miku no Gekishou Loli Fishing Next 20000 Leagues These are files I've had going for a long time that I need to get around to submitting EDIT- Oh, DarkZtar sent in Death Moon. Well, there goes another song I have a file for. Hopefully his file is really different from mine so someday I can send mine in as a v2; I can't imagine anyone would step it the way I did but maybe I'll be surprised p.s. really excited to see gameboob's Hatsune Miku no Bousou file. Song is excellent for stepping so I'm looking forward to seeing how he layered it.

I ended up not having time to perfect 'Fucked Up #Selfie' so I sent something else instead. That will go for next month

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 [Regular batch: OPEN]
Not trying to be negative or anything, but if you judge a single file a day. You can finish the notes within a month right? And if some judges can't meet those requirements just find someone else who can. It really doesn't seem like a crazy proposition to do a file a day, right?

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 [Regular batch: OPEN]
Looks like I have to pass on this batch. The queue's full enough of my files as it is anyway. Will definitely have some neat ones for Feb though

- It's really inefficient to do notes in small batches. Takes a while (for me at least) to get everything set up for judging and get in the right mindset. Even for people who are fast at setting up, it's not the kind of flexible activity you can easily do while other things are going on. It's really annoying if you get interrupted mid-review. - Most people procrastinate things they can, especially boring work with no pay. I'm sure you have tons of things you should be doing right now that you're not, we all do. - It takes WAY longer to review a file well than you seem to think it does. I spent almost 45 minutes on my review for your Guardians of Old file from last batch. That one was kinda an outlier, but still, given the time it takes, it is actually kinda a crazy proposition to do a file a day. Sometimes you just don't have time; it's much better to set aside a longer period to do large blocks of reviews at once, but if that time gets interrupted it can be hard to recover. I'm not excusing judge's lateness (myself included) but I'm just explaining that it's not quite so simple.

I was supposed to judge part of this as well but the 12 days of ffrmas took up so much time AJ offered to take on my portion of the batch doubling himself up. Timing just kinda sucked a little bit but I'm sure everything will get back on track soon. |

I mean if I had like 5 SAP, this wouldn't be too bad, but having 2 and still learning and testing certain things in DDreamstudio. It's kinda hard to get a file in and not get frustrated as a new stepper. |
