Re: The "Look what came in the mail" thread
Nice hardware, I was interested in putting in a 2nd 770 gtx and I have the money, but I really can't justify it in any way. I occasionally play games that can kind of utilize my card, but nothing would be able to use two of them in sli with 1080p monitors.
So, what do you play that requires that kind of power? Last edited by Izzy; 04-27-2014 at 03:29 PM.. |

Re: The "Look what came in the mail" thread
I'm just a bit of an enthusiast I guess. I finally got the money to build a future proofed PC, so I did. I was playing FFR on a 1GB DDR2 ram, 512MB GPU 1.8GHz cpu toaster and was having lag issues. The upgrade was huge, but I'm really enjoying it. I guess I play cod ghosts which is a terribly optimized game so the better the PC the better for that. I play blackflag sometimes and TERA, and the occasional crisis 3. It's not because I needed the power, I just kinda wanted it[: And it allows me to play any game I want now without restrictions, but with finals coming up I've not been able to utilize this build's potential.

Re: The "Look what came in the mail" thread
My PC was falling apart, I was getting random lag spikes while on chrome, so even when using the standalone, I had lag.

Re: The "Look what came in the mail" thread
I actually do have a bigger Sharpnelsound collection than Sharpnel haha. I have a couple of versions of albums he doesn't have anymore (unless he doesn't tell me about it) and he doesn't have the last three albums I still need either cause he sold out on those and lost the original data in a hard drive crash.
