wafles already synced kirlian shores and i used that as a base when i made my chart. want it james?

edit: should we put the album name in subtitle to distinguish from other charts of the song (such as lawn wake ix)

As said from the original post, this pack is just a tribute to an album that's been praised and well-received in the entire Stepmania community. Other than that, a lot of other artists have been stepped in many different packs (ODI3, FFRCPs and Yolomania) so I'd say we've been stepping music/genres (jazz, pop, eurobeat) outside what we normally step.

Not saying I wouldn't download it and give it a try. It's just that after playing 3 Mellann files it starts to get a bit redundant

there are a few other simfiles out there which aren't Mellann.

edit: to elaborate, digitalcyber, this pack or certain simfiles in the pack might not be for you, for any number of reasons. that's okay, right?

there are kind of a lot of other difficult notecharts out there. setting us 100-ish niche keyboard players aside, having a pack for a widely enjoyed music album with full sets of notecharts would be good for the game as a whole, wouldn't you agree?

tbh it's more of a clutter annoyance and the redundancy I have a problem with. by all means, i'm not saying not to do the pack, seems like enough people are interested. i guess with the idea that it's actually the entire album being stepped in mind it makes sense, but I just typically dont see the point in re-stepping a song that already has a decent chart out.

i guess i'm a bit hyper-sensitive since i recently got back into sm and d/led a bunch of packs i keep thinking to myself "why the fuck do I have like 4 Black Dragon files?" granted those are all the same file, but you get the point. anyway, best of luck, I'll give it a shot.

I understand where you're coming from, but there are 28 songs here. This isn't a "Kirlian Choices Restep Project," it's every song on the album.

Not to mention, how many songs are actually goin to get resteps? Let's count.

Passage D has been stepped twice, fortunately the guy who stepped it is sending his expanded charts for this pack.
Lawn Wake IX has been stepped twice as well, pfx and puppet. Puppet's chart is almost five years old.
I think you and can both agree that only good Mellann file is currently Macgravel's file. This one's almost six years old.
Dishevel has been stepped twice (bet you didn't know Scylax stepped it), but I've honestly always liked ian's chart better than ji's.
Shortcuts has been stepped once. 6-7 years ago.

After Shortcuts, nothing else is getting a restep. rog sent his AIS maybe 5 minutes after the project was started, and I'm making a v2 for Kirlian Choices.

So only 5/28 of these are resteps. You could argue Binedump and Kirlian Shores, but there have never been good files for these songs.
