Re: Suspicious Scores thread (Formerly Hacked Scores)
ssbm: I actually read your long explanation and nowhere did I find anything that explains your inconsistency of your scores, particularly the FGO+ scores. If I am understanding you correctly, all you are talking about is your reason to only play the harder songs and not fix your easier stats because "a person is as good as their best rank." But even so, your FGO stats aren't consistent enough in my opinion... I'm sure many would also agree with me. Care to explain about your FGO+ scores in general?

Re: Suspicious Scores thread (Formerly Hacked Scores)
people who are being accused simply don't realize how simple it is to truly solve the problem and satisfy everyone who is calling you out -- there's nothing wrong with people wanting to see proof of what you can do if you start suddenly coming out of the woodwork, nor is there anything wrong with people getting aggressive if you continue to deny/ignore requests.
as a person being accused, you have a right to explain your cause as to how you're getting scores, mentioning any sort of "skillboosts" (I air quote this as most cheaters pull the SM card) or extended practice - if nobody believes you, then you have to show them that you are actually doing as you said. sometimes, even video proof isn't sufficient (see: Anaru) -- thankfully, internal tools can help with that. if you're willing to put forth the effort to show that you're a legitimate player, players will respect that. is it a serious deal? absolutely, to anyone who actually cares about their progress within the game. in other words: anyone who is saying that people are being too serious, or anyone who is like "popcorn.gif" and isn't really contributing any sort of proof needs to just stop. EDIT: I will always mention leonid in any sort of example that I do, because he's the one that blew the most people away in the shortest period - after he and I were duking it out in the top division of the Fire Kai tournament (a long time back), I snagged my only ever non-AAA rank 1, a blackflag on I Hate the 80s. Thinking that I was safe and gonna win that round, I got a bit arrogant and it bit me right in the ass, because he flagged it back. At that point, people were just outright saying that he was BS (including our very own Sprite-, haha). After the BS calls stacked, he started making videos, and he started doing so constantly. if you can find a single person who thinks leonid is BS now, by all means, do so. It's a testament to what proof can really do. Last edited by TC_Halogen; 03-4-2012 at 11:24 AM.. |

Listen dude, I'm not going to sit here and write a full blown essay, but I will simply say this: You love FFR? You love to play the game for fun? Cool, save a god damn replay and prove you aren't cheating. I mean, if it's out of fun, then these scores should be legitimate right? I don't see how you can TEEN GOOD Eclipse AND TEEN GOOD a song like DeVour. Those 2 songs alone prove intensive skill. If you cannot prove that you got them scores naturally without cheating, it just proves you are a fake. Which, at this point, is what I'm leaning towards because it doesn't take long to replay a song and click that little "Save" button at the bottom right of the Velocity Engine to have proof. So, in conclusion, stop ****ing posting in here, and get to the ****ing replays. My regards to Rushy's Put up or Shut up. Simple. |

Getting AAA's = don't care Average rank = don't care Trying to improve scores = don't care I don't recall saying anywhere that i'm trying to "fix" my FGO scores, I simply played a few by choice Is there an FFR rule that states a player must be consistent that i'm missing here? Clearly people are not fully reading my previous posts because i constantly find myself repeating the same explanations. Not sure why people can't accept the fact I choose to be different, rather than play hardcore, frustrate myself, and be consistent. Quote:

Re: Suspicious Scores thread (Formerly Hacked Scores)
If you were legit then you wouldn't have a problem saving a replay by now for us to check for legitimacy. Seeing that you refuse to save a replay highly suggests that you are cheating your scores. Simple as that dude. You keep making yourself look more and more suspicious and eventually it will get to the point of being blacklisted or banned until you take action instead of just arguing about it.
Didn't see your second post. Hope your hand recovers soon.

It isn't even about "fixing" your FGO scores, it's just absolutely weird that you decide to mash through files seemingly random and then you decide to do high ones. This has nothing to do with AAAing, because none of these FGO scores being mentioned are AAAs, they're just in general good accuracy.
