Re: The Dumb Injuries Thread!
My friend slip down a wooden rail and got 4, 5 inch chunks of wood stuck in his butt cheek. He had to have them surgically removed they were so far in and then had stitches. He couldn't sit down for like a month. I laughed.

That reminds me. When I was just starting in line skating, I went off a ramp and perfectly did the trick. Then I went too far after landing and didn't turn and hit the sidewalk edge. I fell and a rusty nail went right through the middle of my hand. >.< |

Re: The Dumb Injuries Thread!
2 years ago, my friend randomly had a pen in his hand and was swinging around. guess where i was? right behind the pen that pierced my hand to the bone.
here's a WAY better one for you guys. about 4 years ago, my friend and i were just playing some random game when i suddenly ran into a mangled tree in my lawn and collapsed. my friend's mom came over to pick him up and both said i needed Neosporin for the scratch. turns out the scratch ran down the entire right side of my face and it bled like **** for about 10 min. had to wear a big bandage on my face for about two weeks. not fun. |

Re: The Dumb Injuries Thread!
This was in 6th grade. I was playing soccer and wasn't paying attention and ran into a metal basketball pole. After I ran into the pole, I left and was going to sit in a tube on the playground but before I got in, someone jumped from above the tube kicking me in the head and the result knocked me down 2 stairs and then a 2-3 foot drop landing on my head.

Re: The Dumb Injuries Thread!
About 2 weeks ago, I was rushing around before a football game trying to do things to prove that I was worthy to be the drum major of the band for a second year. Well, I was rushing through the auditorium and the band director shouted to "hurry up and get onto the stage and direct warm ups". So I jumped and didn't make it, which is odd because I usually do...banged my knee off the side of the stage ,hard, and I had (and still have) a very disgusting bruise that made me unable to put any weight on my right leg. About 20 minutes after this injury we had to run onto the field for our show...and I had to climb up onto this 8 foot podium and run in place on top of it.
Major ouch I went to the doctor to get it looked at the next day and he said that there was a very small crack in my knee, but there's no point in trying to fix it because it's just really small and it will just feel like a bad bruise anyway gay doctor |

Re: The Dumb Injuries Thread!
Hmm I wonder when this thread got bumped I went back and read my year old posts about my finger injury.
I guess I'll tell a new story, when I was about 8 my friend had a rope zipline. One of the ropes got caught under my arm somehow and I went about 100 feet while getting severe rope burn near my armpit. It sucked pretty hardcore.

Was it so high that it never occurred to you that you could let go?

Re: The Dumb Injuries Thread!
When I was 4 I was coming out of the bathroom and I stopped as I was just looking around and the door closed on my right index finger. I didn't feel anything for a few seconds then i realized the door edges were sharp and can cut fingers. I moved my finger around and I cut my finger pretty bad and so wide open, A SPIDER WENT INTO IT! I spent a month in the hospital to get my right index re-attached since it almost got completely cut off. If you wanna see what it looks like right now, click the link below.

Re: The Dumb Injuries Thread!
I almost died a couple of weeks ago.
A couple of weeks ago, I was jumping on my trampoline as I waited for my mom to come home so she could take me to Burger King. As I a1ttempted a backflip, I saw my mom coming down the alley, and I was like, "Yay!" However, I stopped doing my backflip, and almost hit my neck. If I hit at a slightly sharper angle, I would have broken my neck. |

Re: The Dumb Injuries Thread!
On my 13th birthday, I was swimming in the pool (I was on vacation in Minnesota) and while I was in the shallow end, a floating bed thingy came and pushed me under. I broke 2 toes...I think. I was limping around for days.

Re: The Dumb Injuries Thread!
At one of my old friend's 14th birthday party (at least I think it was his 14th...), we all went up to his third floor and decided to mess around. We (that's me, him, and about 6 or 7 others) saw a treadmill in one of his rooms. Seeing as how all of us were retarded, we decided to turn the treadmill up to it's HIGHEST speed and then run and jump on it. Seeing as how I was the most idiotic at the time, I volunteered to be the first to go. I ran, jumped, fell, went flying across the room and got slammed up against the wall. I wasn't hurt really, but I had a GIGANTIC @$$ cut running down one of my legs. It had an akward whitish liquid coming from it at first, then it started to bleed...and didn't stop bleeding for a week or two (I had to bandage it up like crazy). It was really stupid on my part and I deserved what I got. But good God was it funny. XD

In 6th grade, I closed the bathroom door on my toe TWICE, on different toes. The nail on my middle toe came off.

Re: The Dumb Injuries Thread!
REALLY bad grocery-cart slamming accident to the back of my right heel. Took out huge, untold amounts of flesh. Took a week and a half to patch up so it wasn't bleeding, but there's a huge scar there now.
