why do people hate france

However, as far as I've heard, French people are kind of racist and xenophobic. That might be some of the reasons for this hatred.

People hate France? I know people make fun of France, just like they make fun of every country, but a lot of people hate France? My game engine teacher is French and ****ing awesome.

I like Germany more though.

And I didn't even know French folk were known to be racist. I know it's what you've heard, but I've never even heard that one. But I can kind of see how.

France (Politically/Culturally) has a STRONG dislike for different religions, that is where the middle east racism comes from (Judaism/Muslim). Except there are still plenty of mormons going door to door in france which from the beginning far outweighed the amount of jehovas witnesses ever present in france.

Pretty much this. There are many stereotypes that go around about the French from being extremely stuck up to being very socialist, cowards when it comes to war and irregular bathing. I've never been to France so I don't know if any of these are close to being true.
