Which sounds totally bogus since I'm pretty sure that I've seen that particular ebgames listed at itrackr. ps I'd extend an invitation for hanging out at Best Buy to Eric, but I can't promise I won't be engrossed in Harry Potter.

Re: The Wii is Here.
Make sure you tell him Circuit City probably isn't the place to go >_>
It opens later than all of the other stores first of all, so if they don't get it you're out of luck. The coupon no longer applies, so that totally voids the reason to go there. Oh, and like I said, I want that deal for a DS. I wish I could've traded in my gamecube because it has no purpose now, but whatever. A GBASP, something that only plays GBA and prior games, to be traded for a DS, which plays DS and GBA games. Hmm. A used DS shouldn't be more than like $70 right? I mean, DS Lites are $130 new, so that makes the original like $100 new, right? |

Nes Decal. Came with the mag. Also came with this; TP console decal. Don't know whether I'll put it on though.

Re: The Wii is Here.
;-; Wario Ware was sold out the day it came out. I should have expected this, but I was too lazy to preorder, so of course I got the whole preorder speech from the manager (he's crazy and NEVER STOPS TALKING, especially about this topic).
I also wanted to preorder PW2, just for the cool awesome stylus T_T but I already had the Japanese version of the game, so my friends convinced me not to buy it. And Squeek, I'm the type of person who couldn't bear to lose old beloved games/systems even if they no longer got use, but if it doesn't bother you, get get get that DS. *_* I'd say the two Phoenix Wrights alone make it worth it, but of course there are more awesome games to get such as Mario Kart and Wario Ware.

Re: The Wii is Here.
Yeah, well, while it has some sentimental value, I really don't mind. Especially if they give me $50 for it.
Has anyone contacted Eric yet? He hasn't posted since Circuit City changed that coupon and I'm worried that he'll miss this opportunity as a result =( |

I have a coupon for 10% off three games, so I think I'll get that (Wario Ware), Zelda, and maybe elebits... not 100% yet. As for Eric, I'll call him shortly. EDIT: oh by the way (old post, but I noticed it reading back at old things): Quote:
Related note: "circuit city opens latest of all the stores"... What time? Best Buy doesn't open until 11 on Sunday and I doubt any store would open later than that.

Re: The Wii is Here.
If you include Wario Ware, which hasn't arrived here yet, I have 7 games.
Zelda and Wario Ware are pretty much a given. First-party titles. Elebits isn't for a niche market, but as pointed out earlier, not everyone may like it as much as I do. Trauma Center isn't considered a game for a niche market, but it really is. It's in a market for "fun" games. Monkey ball is sweet, but I'd honestly wait for the next iteration once they don't have to rush the release. The mini-games are primarily crappy on Monkey Ball. And, aside from Red Steel, it's the game I play the least. I've played Zelda for 50 hours and Elebits for maybe 60. Trauma Center for 40. Red Steel for 10. Monkey Ball for 20. Sports for I-don't-even-know-how-long. Wario Ware for 0 ;_; Ship me wario ware plzzzzzzzzz |

Re: The Wii is Here.
Oh I saw a display at Toys R Us today about something called Wii Play. Is that out yet? Do you think it's worth buying? It sounds like it'd be pretty cool.

Re: The Wii is Here.
I'm still not sure if I want to get Wario Ware. I think I might get bored of it after a while.

Okay, I won't go to Circuit City. I'll either go to my best buy, or go camp with Chris.
And Chris: Wii Play isn't out here yet... I think it's sold in AU and JP right now when you buy additional Wiimotes.

Oh. 10:00 sunday.
Eh. 11:00 is pretty late for an electronics store to open. srsly. Whatever. Go where you want. Just don't think Circuit City is going to accept that coupon, 'cuz they won't. It's also much more fun waiting with friends. Best of luck =x |

Only thing I'd be scared of if I was waiting with him was that the last one would come down to the two of us, and we'd have to NINJA BATTLE for it.
I haven't been up on my Kung-fu lately, so I'd be screwed =(

Re: The Wii is Here.
Okay, Wii Party v2 officially ended less than an hour ago. The whole night was centered around WarioWare: Smooth Moves, with the main participants being me, Kenzya, Neonatrias, my girlfriend, and another random girl that none of you know. Well, long story short, we all got into it and ended up playing for an hour longer than we originally intended to.
As I had suspected, WarioWare is the perfect party game. Of course, you have to have the right people to play it with. We had the quiet guy that rocked us all, the crazy-yet-awesome guy, the guy who kept getting rocked unfairly (me rofl), the girl who didn't know what the heck she was doing but loving it the whole time, and the girl that did a decent job after some practice; a pretty standard group, I'd say. We were all laughing, yelling at each other, and whatever the entire time. Of course, the poses were fun as I had expected, but laughing at each other screwing up at microgames (which is much more comical with other people) was definitely the best part. And, while I had planned to do other things, WarioWare was the beginning and end. If you can get some of your gamer friends over to your house to play the Wii some time, make sure WarioWare is the center of entertainment. You'll definitely have a blast.

WarioWare is awesome..............
....for a rental. That is unless you'll have friends over often to play, while drinking, and with a good mix of girls who will laugh and giggle. I must add that the presentation for the game is amazing. Last edited by banditcom; 01-21-2007 at 01:49 AM.. |

GOT IT!
Waited for an hour and a half at Target... they came out finally in the last 5 minutes and said they had gotten like 50 in, and gave vouchers to everyone. Now, to kick my sister and her friends sleeping over out of the basement!

Naw, just kidding. I got my voucher from Best Buy. Waiting for the damn store to open now ****ing... the Target across the street from Best Buy opened earlier and ****ing had more Wiis. What the hell? I'm still fine with my choice though... Funny thing is: right after I got my coupon, I dashed across the street, and the LAST OF THE WIIS HAD JUST BEEN SOLD TO PEOPLE WHO WERE IN LINE WITH ME AT BEST BUY ROFL Really, though, glad to see it pulled through for you, Eric. I was half expecting to see you at Best Buy, and when I didn't, I went over to Circuit City just in case after Target and was kind of worried when you weren't around. ps 8 hours outside a target? I did 3.5 hours in my car and about 45 minutes outside best buy. The ****ing Target across the street wasn't sold out at like 9:30 either (they gave out the coupons from best buy after that).
