Man. I miss Conker. He was the bees knees. He would have fitted right in on the Wii as well.

By the way, Rare also made Goldeneye, no? If it's true, say goodbye to a VC version.

I guess that also means no Conker's Bad Fur Day either.

They better put Perfect Dark into the lineup or else I will send Nintendo an angry letter.

Won't happen. Perfect Dark is exclusively the property of Rareware. Nintendo lost the rights to Rare's games featuring Rare characters when they sold Rareware to Microsoft, shifting the ownership of the European second-party development house. Nintendo actually got the better end of the deal, because despite their graphical skill, delay-a-thon, collect-a-thon Rareware only develops crap now.
Viva Pinata is supposedly great.

Also, you never know, there's a possibility their developing crap is related to their move to Microsoft.

I wasn't aware that Viva Pinata was developed by Rare. After they released Grabbed by the Ghoulies, I took them for dead; they'd been going downhill with Nintendo for a bit, then did worse with Microsoft.

EDIT: I have bad news. My Wii Browser crashed this morning on the forums. The only fix was the violent unplug. Ewwww.

My Wii has crashed once or twice. Only because I left it on pause for like 8 hours. Literally 8 hours. Silly thing to do.

In other news I got Call of Duty 3. Good game. I was a little sceptical about FPS on the Wii after Red Steel, then willing to give FPS another shot after seeing how well shooting bits on Zelda were. Call of Duty 3 is really good. No jip with the controls. Really responsive. Also. The game puts the controls to very good use. Sometimes, a Nazi will be all up in your face and take you into close quarters battle. To wrestle him you got to do sort of punching movements to wrestle him down. Then quickly hold the Wiimote and nunchuk like a rifle and make a gun butting motion. Really clever. Also, when planting explosives you push forward with the nunchuk to plant it, circle the nunchuk to twist the fuse in and then pull the nunchuk away to trigger the timer. So far I've had to motion rowing (I was in a boat lol), simulate driving (by holding the nunchuk and Wiimote like a steering wheel), Wrestle a guys (as mentioned), pull myself up off an edge cliff (hold controllers up and pull down, like climbing as cliff lol) and work a crane, which involved a lot of motions.

All in all a good game. Graphics are very decent. Gamplay is superb and the story is great. Very cinematic and very exhilarating.

Say, does anybody know where I can get a wii remote + nunchuk that isn't over 60 dollars before the 20 dollar shipping for the nunchuk alone?

I looked all over for an extra Wiimote and Nunchuk today. I found the Wiimote, no Nunchuk. They're scarce right now.

HOLY CRAP HAHAHA

Just finished X-5, Pempti, for the first time.

I thought I did poorly. Pempti is hard after all. Takes way too long, and you never can get all five of the tumor-forming guys.

Apparently I won with a 200 chain, no mistakes, and I never used Healing Touch. The game thought that was commendable.

I got XS rank. "Medical Prodigy".

Edit: WOW AHAHAH wow.

Paraskevi sucked. Holy crap. They stay frozen for about a second and no longer. Had to go to the third organ to finish it off. Piece of crap I tells ya. C'd it and no interest to bring that up.

I'm still shaking though, because I just beat Savato. Eight seconds left. I seriously almost failed when putting the roll of gauze or whatever on him at the end. Holy crap holy crap holy crap.

I B'd it.

AND FINALLY, the last message the game gives you is amazing. I won't spoil it =)

Just wondering....has anyone figured out how to get on the internet with the Wii from their dorm? I have to go back tomorrow, and just now realized that there is no wireless router.

USB WiFi adaptor.

That's all I can think of. Either that or wait for the Ethernet port addition.

Or go to a college that isn't Ohio State [assuming you go there by how much you root for them] and has wireless in the dorms.

Lmao, that's amazing. My friend will love that. He's a medical student and loves Under the Knife. He's got a Wii too and will defiantly get Second opinion. Anyway. I got a S rank on Savato on Under the knife first time. Trick was, leave the little bugs as they lag the game and make a healing touch effect anyway. Same with invisible blades.

Seth, I was on Extreme Difficulty. Not Normal.

They don't lag the game on the Wii version, either >_>

There are three endings. That's the final ending. The first is at the end of the "Under the Knife" storyline. The second is at the end of the "Second Opinion" storyline. The third is at the end of the X-missions. That's the one in the spoiler tags.

There's Easy, Medium, and Hard for the regular missions. You can switch between them in the mission select screen.

After you beat the game on any difficulty, it unlocks the X-missions. That's just the individual GUILT one by one (X-1 - X-7) as both doctors for a total of 14 extra missions. Because of the nature of the mission (you'll find out when you beat the game), they made it extremely difficult, hence, "Extreme" difficulty.

Just did it as Kimishima. Nothing really memorable. C'd Triti and Paraskevi (three guesses why =/), but managed to XS Deftera. Imagine that.

It's funny that I can XS the extremely difficult missions but not the Easy missions.

You can only XS on hard and extreme, that's why.

I've been playing nothing but Metal Slug Anthology lately. I'm having one hell of a time unlocking the Tonko Art Gallery. To do so, you have to beat Metal Slug 6 with only 15 credits (like in the arcade). Now, for those of you that haven't played any Metal Slug before, every single one is HAAAARD, and 15 credits is ridiculously small. I played the rest of the games with unlimited continues, and the least amount of credits I used, I think, was about 37. I haven't even reached the FINAL BOSS of 6 with 15 credits. I think I'm getting close, though.
