JAPAN - Japanese Anthology of Permissions Acquired by Ninjas
So about a few weeks ago, after I started collecting SMs from Japan and I decided to look up for the artists name. Now, I got permission for quite a number of them. These are mainly artists whom you haven’t really heard of and have either been associated with other rhythm games before (such as Beatmania), or make material that is very suitable for stepping.
I will post the artist name, his website, his style, the conditions he placed and then the evidence of email, for entertainment purposes. The translations are kind of inaccurate as most were translated by me, but I try to give you the gist of what it means. If there aren’t any song conditions, it basically means blanket permission, unless the email says otherwise. Also, I didn’t put in the style for some of them since I didn’t hear all of their tracks to give a conclusion. Check it out yourself, then you can tell me so I can add it here. Also, since you most likely can’t read Japanese, you can use this site to romajinize the song titles. http://www.romaji.org And here's a website to help getting Japanese text. https://www.msu.edu/~bellbri2/ime.html So, here are the artists: So anyway, I’ll be updating this with new permissions each time. Till then, check out the artists. Anything else such as comments, questions and requests are encouraged.

Just message me a link, and stuffs. It's a definite no for MySpace, because I get totally ignored. Muzie is possible, but I need to find an Official page. Also, if the artist are commercial, the chances of permission are significantly lower.

Sana. Now. (I can dream)
Great job though. I do know quite a few of them, and some have some really steppable songs, but I suck at stepping, lol

Re: JAPAN - Japanese Anthology of Permissions Acquired by Ninjas
Woot, you finally posted it. So much nice new stepable stuff. I'm gonna be quite busy, huh?
Btw the No Rockman 9 remix usage makes me sad, such good songs (Azell) But we can use his other remixes though, right? (final fantasy etc) Last edited by Coolboyrulez0; 08-28-2009 at 10:47 PM.. |

Yes.
Wait, no. I thought it was only Megaman 9 remixes that could not be done, but it's all of the songs that's below the Megaman 9 remixes in that page. Though you can of course step other non-VG stuff you find from his Japanese page.

Feel free to requests permissions. Artists with lots of free tracks are very likely for me to get, but those more or full commercial artists are definitely unlikely for me to obtain.
Posts artists names and websites here if you want me to request. |

Re: JAPAN - Japanese Anthology of Permissions Acquired by Ninjas
I'll aim for their free tracks, unless you want their CD songs or something.
Edit: Already sent the standard one. We have a pretty high chance of getting permission, IMO.

Re: JAPAN - Japanese Anthology of Permissions Acquired by Ninjas
I chose not to correct it, to keep close to how it would mean it Japanese, lololol. I could edit it, but I'll leave it for the novelty of it. Also, do mind, Japanese sentence structure is different, so it's a bit confusing.

My chances of getting MySpace are 0%, to be honest. Ask _.Spitfire._

Re: JAPAN - Japanese Anthology of Permissions Acquired by Ninjas
If you can do the ones I haven't translated, or the ones that are mainly inaccurate, that would be nice. Y Maru was properly translated, along with Azell. Everything else was done by me, word by word.
