LD RE-INSTATE RAI RAI KTHXBYE
Ok, here. 18 players, football themed. 4 blues- Quarterback, 2 Static Wide Recievers, and a Guard. 3 wolves-Safety, Middle Linebacker, Defensive End.
QB=Quaterback G=Guard S=Saftey WR=Wide Reciever DE=Defensive End MLB=Middle Line Backer. QB has the power to throw passes, and has 2 seerings. A pass is when the QB chooses one player each night to throw a "pass" to. If the Pass is thrown to the WR, and the safety does not inteferre, the QB finds out the role of the WR. Seerings and passes can be used together in the same night. WR-Static. Role is explained up in the QB section. G- Can guard a player- will get deeper into this later. S- If chooses the WR with his power, and the WR is thrown a pass, the identity of the WR is known to the S, and the QB and WR find out nothing, goes as a incomplete pass. MLB- Kamakaze powers. Can kill himself and another at anytime during the game, counts as the days lynching. CAN NOT END THE GAME. If waited to the end of the game, power becomes void. DE- Has the power to "blitz" the QB. If the QB is chosen, then the QB dies. Now, for the variations: If the G gaurds the QB, and the DE uses his power on he QB, the DE's power is gone for the rest of the game. If the S uses his power on the WR, and the WR gets a pass thrown to him, and the G guards the WR, then the QB learns the role of not only the WR, but the S as well. The S also learns the indetity of the WR. This makes it difficult for the QB to come out, as the guardian can only protect one. With the chance of getting sacked as well, it adds another Please, give me some constructive crit. |

RE: Tell me why my hosting idea never wins.
Didn't people just vote for Chardish's game because it was complicated?

No one likes following a bunch of if-then-but-else statements. "If X does this but Y doesn't then Z happens, but if Y does then R happens, unless QRQ..." That's what all your roles are. |

You're TPS, I don't trust that you'll follow through with the rules. I'm afraid you'll throw in unexpected twists.

If the hitman goes for the boss but the other hitman is a alive nothing happens. If the hitman goes for the safetyman who isn't protected he is killed unless a guardian guards him from the attacking hitman tribe in which the safetyman is safe from both tribes but can still get lynched.
Simple enough. |

Guardians - guard people Hitman - kills people Boss - can't be killed as long as the hitman is still alive. You're running through possible scenarios. I'm talking about what's built into your rules. |

The guardian is an if-then role.

That's a bullshit reason. I bet a lot of TWGers don't like anime but Roasted Fanclub Chicken was a huge hit storywise.

PS: All you people saying you dont' trust because he might change the rules because he's TPS are stupid. He tries inventive stuff he's playing to spice things up. If he hosted he would be obligated to stick to the rules and do it right. Just because he tries to do weird things in-game doesn't mean he'll fuck up EVERYTHING he does. You're all being way too harsh and coming off as massive idiot/assholes, kthx?

Most TWGers probably completely loathe football. I know I do. I also don't want a hearty slap on the ass and a steamy group shower after TWG is over. |

RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Tell me why my hosting idea never wins.
But it's the story. Who the hell cares about story anymore?
If necessary, just think of the roles as something else, even something generic like "Role A".

I care about the story, it makes it significantly more entertaining.

RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Tell me why my hosting idea never wins.
People don't trust TPS will keep the rules because of that one game he wanted to run where the big secret was that all the blues would lose their powers on Day 3 but no one would know about it ahead of time.

Innocent before proven guilty, my friends. This is retarded, I have played in games in which I hate the themes and roles. You are all a bunch of complaining bitches. I have played in the most games that hasn't hosted. Real fair.
