Re: ScarletSky's Amateur FFR Tournament
Both D4 and D3's competition is VERY VERY close in skill. Meaning, the whole tournament will be VERY close for you guys. ;D I expect tie breakers here very shortly, maybe even R2.
I'm more surprised at D2's scores on Greensleeves. It's an easy enough 5 yet only one person got a SDG. You guys are embarrassing yourselves, looking like D1-type scores. D:< D2 was also the hardest to place. =S Thanks for the notice Zek, I fixed it. xP ~Updated Last edited by ScarletSky; 12-19-2011 at 02:17 PM.. |

Re: ScarletSky's Amateur FFR Tournament
Greensleeves actually took me several tries to AAA, if I remember right it had grace note things I kept dropping goods in, it's harder than it looks

Re: ScarletSky's Amateur FFR Tournament
Well, both of you are right in this case. I probably did pick an easier song than I could have for D4 and a harder song than I meant to for D2. D4 skill wise is actually very close. Quite literally anyone could take 1st place.
Originally D4 was going to get The Pylons Are Trap Balls (heuheu) but not everyone had the token so I just picked what I thought was the next hardest 7. |

Re: ScarletSky's Amateur FFR Tournament
Greensleeves doesn't seem to be working for me. I've tried using both engines + the standalone client, and using different browsers, but it just freezes after loading 95%.
I'll try again every day, but it seems I'll be out of the tournament soon, if this keeps up. |

Re: ScarletSky's Amateur FFR Tournament
Touche. Too lazy to make the e with the accent mark. :P.
At the same time, I do consider myself a high contender in the D3 competition. Which admittingly I am happy with. However at the same time I have been trying for a while and never AAA'ed D4's song. Came close, but not AAA'd. Because the first round is generally an AAA or close to it round, perhaps some people (who won't have sdg's before the end of the round without lack of trying) were placed too high, instead of some people like me being placed too low? I dunno, just a thought.

Re: ScarletSky's Amateur FFR Tournament
Yeah I was implying that I was placed too high, not that you were placed too low. I -might- be able to squeak out a AAA on this song. My best AAA is a solitary 6, and the round 1 song is a 6 that already has 5/8 submitted AAAs.

Re: ScarletSky's Amateur FFR Tournament
So...if we get higher than we did when we submitted the first time, can we post a new image for submission??

Re: ScarletSky's Amateur FFR Tournament
Yes, you just keep posting new better scores until the end of the round.

Edit.. You.. You.. YOU NINJA. And also, the people in D3 probably only have 6's AAAed with a few low 7's. That's what I have at least. But sometimes I can't sightread combo 8's. And comboing 9's is difficult for me. Even low ones. I only have 1 challenging combo'ed. Because this is an amateur tournament I think scarlet is going to take advantage of the fact we can't AAA everything, and make this a tournament where it isn't AAA or die. Just a thought.
