Spexartelitan, why would you want to "spread the word" about some shitty ass files? If you think that it is appropriate to ignore all forum guidelines and make a thread in the incorrect place just because you think some terrible file is good, then just gtfo. Actually you already said you do, so gtfo.

listen the only guy in this conversation who has an issue is hi19hi19...mainly because he is very obsessed with saying the files are horrible. im not saying everyone has to like them...but fact is theyre not horrible. also a site isnt perfect if it cant effectively show the good parts about it...which im trying to do with my songs cause honestly i think they rock

I think your file isn't totally terrible, but you need to stop whoring it out. You've made three seperate threads about them, and they're constantly getting bumped. WE GOT IT THAT YOU HAVE SOME SIMFILES OUT.

Yes.

If you wanted people to help you find the good parts, phrase it that way. Nobody else cares, as this thread pretty clearly shows. In summary, stfu.

Re: ultimate everytime we touch and blue (da ba dee) songs and faster versions!
fine...ill tell you why i like them...though its in one of the other threads but asking you to check them out would make you unhappy. well the song escalates in difficulty to when the first half of the song is over...then it reverts to variations of the first part so it isnt repetitive since the first half of the song is basically the second. the song has 14 sections... each of which has a different pattern and the transitions are to the words of the song. i will admit 2 of the sections only go to the singing while the other 12 are generally to the music to anger those who think the singing is the only part of the song...but the transitions are all to the singing which adds about 1 or 2 sections depending on whether you will accuse me of exaggerating or not. when the song goes to the words...there is a double for each word/syllable/w/e. i find the song fun because it includes all of my favorite patterns: double/single steps alternating, stream, stream with evenly spaced doubles, 3 notes and then a rest repeated, stream that has the repetition of the right or left arrow that alternates with the others, and basically that you never stop playing so you dont get bored and it doesnt appear that the song constrained me instead of me constraining the song. basically i found the other files too easy when they generally only went to the words and tried to make one more difficult that isnt random as best as i could. thats for everytime we touch. blue is basically the same concept...cept the doubles go to more of the words because i figured people like that which you apparently do. so um...please say criticism that makes sense

EVENLY SPACED DOUBLES? It does not matter if they are "evenly spaced" and are aesthically pleasing in your editor. The beat is what matters, so you have to place the notes to it, not just randomly. Again, it doesn't matter if it has all your favorite patterns if it's not even close to being on beat. There are notes besides 4ths 8ths and 16ths, in case you didn't know.

Re: ultimate everytime we touch and blue (da ba dee) songs and faster versions!
hey hi19 i seriously just think that youre pissed off that in 3 days my songs have gotten twice as many download as all of yours combined in how ever long theyve been there...i guess it makes sense that i dont prefer them either
what evenly spaced doubles translates to though i figured i wouldnt have to explain except you assumed that it meant i thought it just looked good is that they first were placed every four measures and then every two measures. the arrows still go to the beat. what you may be talking about is that it doesnt necessarily go to the singing or pronounced background...but unfortunately the pronounced notes in the background are too easy to simply go to them and i made the steps go to the subtle drums in the background more or w/e they are

Umm I fail to see any "pwnage" from you. Your files are trash, get out.
What you did is called "overstepping" by the way. |

Re: ultimate everytime we touch and blue (da ba dee) songs and faster versions!
the pwnage was about my 4 files having more downloads in 3 days than hi19's 25 or 30 have had in 2 years. overstepping is if you place steps where there is no music, or at least placing multiple steps where there is only one note or drum hit - which would mean its not a held out note or drum sequence either...its not if you simply place a lot of steps

Omg, lock this already.
Either that or move this to the garbage bin. That could be fun. |

Half the steps go to absolutlely nothing. This is neither fun nor technically correct, therefore your file sucks. The end. Oh and I don't really care about file downloads rofl. If it's resonance-compatible, most people just download it for the song
