Re: First Official FFR StepCon
I really don't know everyone's stepping styles, and since some people didn't submit in the groups I can't really tell who's chart is who's. I'll try group 2 though.

Re: First Official FFR StepCon
I can almost guess which file(s) will win for Blackout and Still Blastin', not pretty sure about Within Life since stepping concept will be important on that song.
ps it will be really hard to guess the authors who haven't released many SM files or don't have files on FFR. Last edited by jimerax; 10-27-2012 at 01:46 AM.. |

Re: First Official FFR StepCon
The winners in each group are almost predictable already, there's quite a strong consensus on each group over the past few pages on the best file in each. And they're all really well deserved imo

It's all in good fun, I don't expect anyone to get all of them correct.

I FUCKING LOVE CAKE
|
I still think I have a chance with Whitin' Life even if the reviews about my file are quite nonexistant. The only one who did a review is Noname.
But I'll review Blackout. 'cause I'm cool. K. Blackout 1 (8/10) : I loved it. Though, I'm not a huge fan of Jacks/Minijacks even if I know this song is quite perfect for minijacks. In fact, most of the steps will probably have them. Not because they're hard, simply because I just don't like them. My personal taste. Still a really good step. Blackout 2 (6/10) : ... Yeah I knew it. This one has so many, in fact too many IMO. Also, so many triples for no reasons too, I think. Blackout 3 (8/10) : I liked it. A lot. Again, minijacks. But they were more enjoyable in this one, so it's kk. The fact that the song is cutted out helps a bit, even if I don't mind playing the whole song. I love long songs. Blackout 4 (7/10) : See this is something interesting. I don't like minijacks, but depending on where you put them, it can be super good. Lots of minijacks in streams in this one, I loved all of them. Pretty enjoyable. I don't really like at all where you cutted the song. It's like if I would step a song, but only the end. mmmeh. Blackout 5 (6/10) : I don't know really what to say about this one. It seems like in some parts you lacked of imagination. Same jumps for some parts. It's still a good step, don't get me wrong here. Blackout 6 (5/10) : I don't like the cuts at all in this one. For somebody who doesn't know the song, it can pass I GUESS (even I would say "huh, it's cut in a wierd way.." the first time I would listen to it). Also, a lot of effort putted on making Color effects... Some of them were good, some of them were unecessary. Blackout 7 (7/10) : This would be probably my favourite, but... so many so many huge HUGE jacks. Otherwise it was so much fun to play. Even the minijacks were well placed, but the huge things, bleh. The end also ruined a bit. Blackout 8 (8/10) : A really good easy chart. the white "Gooo.." was perfect placed, IMO. nothing too too bad to say about this one. Blackout 9 (5/10) : Bleh. Same sh!t, almost, the color effects were not really good. Always different and MEH. might be me on that though. The step was not really enjoyable like the others too. Blackout 10 (4/10) : I don't get this one. is it supposed to look like hard or easy? At first I was sure it was sorta like Blackout 8, but there are some parts way too hard in comparison. Also some parts looked like it was improvisation. To finish, at the end it looked like the stepper couldn't find what to put to finish it, lack of imagination again. Sorry. Again these are MY thoughts, don't be mad at me If I was a judge, I would have a super hard time choosing between 1, 3 and 8. Last edited by psychoangel691; 10-27-2012 at 02:48 PM.. |

Guys I've had two people tell me their charts aren't up and I go back redownload the charts to check and they are. Please check your sm chart again and look at the files if you think yours is missing for some reason before messaging me that it's missing. Keep makin me think I screwed up -_-

Re: First Official FFR StepCon
Indeed, I expected more people to at least try guessin the chart to the person. Maybe if I give up a 100k credit prize to whoever gets the most correct, people will actually try. XD

Re: First Official FFR StepCon
blackout
1: megamon 2: Doss 3: silvuh 4: Icy 5: alloyus 6: stickly 7: eastside 8: visd 9: gameboy 10: femanic i feel extremely iffy about most of these... 4 i figured was icy cuz it was cut, and mostly all JS. everything else was hit & miss. 3 i guessed silvuh cuz of the colored notes, and his love for them. idk tbh edit: lol this vid has blackout in the background. credit for mode who sent me these vids: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aN3Zg...feature=relmfu
