Re: 9th Official Tournament -- Round 4
Really? I always thought the 3rd JS was hard just because the section before doesn't really give a break and... I just feel so drained by the time I get to the 3rd JS.

basically 1st/2nd js is layered normally but 3rd js introduces a bit more layering then the last has hands |

Re: 9th Official Tournament -- Round 4
You see, its not that the file isnt fun. I could play the file for hours and i guess im going to have to to get a freaking SDG on it if i want to get top 16 BUT its just overstepped. I see some of you think it could have been harder, and maybe it could have i dont really know but i dont see why it should have been :P
Guess i'm going to have to isolate the 2 middle JS sections.

Re: 9th Official Tournament -- Round 4
Well then the simfile author did his job well.
As before, can you explain how it's overstepped? You're saying the patterns don't flow well, which is kind of arguable/subjective and not something I personally agree with. But regardless, pattern difficulty and how under/overstepped something is are two totally different things. |

Overstepping like previously mentioned generally refers to stepping a part much different than the intensity warrants, and this is a big problem with buzz sounds in songs. Some songs have buzzes stepped very densely as fast walls (e.g. Chik Habit, RATO, many other DnB and breakcore songs) that are just incredibly annoying and ugly for the player.

Re: 9th Official Tournament -- Round 4
You guys are also D7, you have to look at it at a lower level players point of view. Just because you guys can easily AAA it doesnt mean to us it flows well.
I have actually been practicing fast js for the past few days now. I started not being able to do it at all, and now i can do it pretty well. But this file is just, different. Its like its fast/dense JS but with something else as well. lol @ L.B.D.D, heh yeah :/

Re: 9th Official Tournament -- Round 4
if you want to see what love hurts would be like if ji layered the main synth, play icy's file (though it's cut)
imo he could have easily made it a lot harder without overdoing it. overstepped means that there are a lot of unneeded arrows, which i fail to discern |

Falling behind on patterns makes them not flow by default, but that doesn't mean the file is overstepped per se (the jumps make sense and they aren't as frequent as the Love Hurts in Nuclear Blast) |

Re: 9th Official Tournament -- Round 4
I know this has nothing to do with the tournament, but is anyone else laggging every song they play? I keep getting random goods and its starting to get annoying-_-

Monopsu has been moved to division 5 for a matching IP, key setup, and game setup as user faitle.

Re: 9th Official Tournament -- Round 4
Change: fair treatment -- I am disqualifing Monopsu. I've had to remove one other user in this tournament, and I will remove this one for substantially harder evidence.
