Epiphany Thread
I'll start:
Time? A concept reaching past basic understanding. It's merely a perception, yet it consumes us. We're determined to follow a course. Fulfill your destiny; legitimize your self-proclaimed prophecy. You spend this time building up a name, a value, what have you, but as unaesthetic as it may seem, your sequence has an end. NOW! Later. When? What's the difference? It's how you spend that "time" that matters. Would you rather die with empty pockets or the wealth of the world. Smiles still exist in the life you look back upon. Will my history repeat itself or have I experienced the life I was meant to? Impatience drills into me. My teeth tick; my eyes tock. Rebirth, or death? The present no longer exists when reality is replaced by memory.

Re: Epiphany Thread
It would be very loose poetry if it's poetry at all. I write these little epiphanies, kinda like blogs. I found out some other people do it, and I'm always interested in seeing into the minds of people.
So think of **** and come back and post it eloquently. I have more, btw.

Re: Epiphany Thread
Well I think you could be a talented poet. The only line that I didn't think was generally obvious to everyone is the last line. That is the excuse I use when people tell me I play to many video games. I don't really play alot of games anymore, but yea. When I used to play to many games.

Re: Epiphany Thread
Where art thou my love? Not a piece not a paper, Not a puff not a vapor, The sweet smell that you share, The symbiosis of flame that enriches the air, My heart is lost without you, I feel gone not at your side, So make your way back to my heart, And my lungs where you reside.
I had an epiphany that revealed to me that I'm in love with pot. |

Re: Epiphany Thread
I had an epiphany.
Act like a champion for God's sake. Didn't your father teach you anything? My father once said, "Son, you mayonnaise-laced wonderbread cracker. You act like a champion." That was before he gave me a Louisiana pile-driver. And those are the words I live by. |

My first recorded irrelevant epiphany was that the robot jargon in the song Intergalactic by the Beastie Boys wasn't actually robot jargon. It says intergalactic planetary, planetary intergalactic. Not quite sure how I missed that for so long.

Re: Epiphany Thread
This is great.
Keep 'em coming people Extrusion The voice aches to escape. The mind yearns for understanding. We all long for something deeper; genuine. To what do we owe this, and just how do we achieve these basic wills? A man with problems spares the eyes of witness and the worry of empathy, for what? His problem remains his, yet his problem remains. Do we seek help or pain? Priorities determine actions of the feeble-minded. So when presented with a choice too overwhelming for resolution, what path do you take?

I knew people were gonna suck so I went ahead and put it in CC. It's not serious enough for CT anyway.
