Stop the smiley spam (see many of the simfiles in the sim section). It fucks up computers like mine and totally halts my computer, just for taking a look at the page, and I can't download the simfiles. So stop it. Fuckers.

It messes up my computer because it keeps trying to load the images and there are too many... it slows everything RIGHT down and tops out my resources. Maybe I have a crap computer, but nothing should do that.

Erm, no, his siggy doesn't slow me down at all... it doesn't do anything at all.

Have any of you actually gone to the pages with the smiley spam? Doesn't it do anything to your computers?

I get MAJOR computer lag. I have a wimpy AMD 1300.

Wow, that is the coolest thing I've ever seen online, I mean, ever. Anyway, that smiley spam isn't that bad... My compy can handle it wahoo! About that dial-up/cable issue... Don't you only need to download the smiley image once? Then once it's downloaded your comp just puts all the other ones there? I could swear that's the point of your temporary internet files folder. But heck, I'm not all that great with comps so I could be wrong.

Heh that was awesome. That doesn't do anything, Kilga.. it's just when there's pages and pages of it that it screws things up.

And BidingLight, yes, it only downloads it once... it's the rendering it on the screen that's the problem. The browser has to show the same tiny picture a bajillion times..

It's the same thing as when you go into a folder on your computer that has about 1,000 small files and it lags before it loads them all. You know? It doesn't have to download anything... it just has to be able to handle a thousand things at once.

anywho, smiley spam should stop in the commentary on songs. there's no real point to it, unlike these secret messages.
