Re: danceguy AMA
How'd you find FFR, and what do you think of it at the moment?
What kind of music do you like? Why do you always leave the room when I'm about to go on SMO? |

Re: danceguy AMA
I played DDR constantly at the time, and I got a few buddies into it. a friend's brother found the site upon googling "online DDR" or something of that nature. I was hooked immediately.
tons of fun. I was mostly absent for a few years, so I'm playing catch-up with some relatively new names and faces. I appreciate everything far more than I used to. indie rock has been my #1 jam for the past 5 years. during that time, I've also developed a liking for... everything else. favorite band/artist is probably Spoon. I've recently started to lurk FFR's music boards. so many talented people here! Quote:

frozen. by an enormous margin. if I'm in the mood for fruity, feminine drank, then I might as well go all out.

Re: danceguy AMA
You're playing poker with a tiger, a baboon, an owl, a blobfish, and a bacterium. You're holding 10s Jc and the flop is 8d 9h 4c. The stares at you, laughs out loud, but only checks. The baboon yawns really loudly and looks like it's desperately trying to stop itself from falling asleep, and checks. The owl is completely motionless for half a minute and then also checks. The blobfish immediately bets 3.5x the minimum with confidence. The bacterium folds. Do you fold, call, raise, or run screaming?
How many tries would it take you to FC Power using only your nose? What do you think of the map in my signature? If you got asked these sorts of questions at a job interview how would you react, and if you got offered the job, would that experience mean you'd be more or less inclined to take it?

an outside straight draw on the flop is decent. the ??? (I'm assuming that first one is tiger) had a forced reaction. that doesn't give away the tiger's hand, but the play was most likely pre-planned. the baboon's reaction seems genuine; strong hole cards would have picked up its adrenaline, and the check was in front of multiple players, so I'll assume no check-raise. the owl was probably thinking intensely... or does it always look like that? the significance of blobfish's raise depends on the prior pot size. there's little hope for a flush for anyone, but a reraise would force players out with little hope of winning the hand on that raise. I call. oh, and I looked up blobfish images. what in the... Quote:
