so i'm drinking all these red bulls and amps and whatnot, completely owning my friends playing like 2000 arcade games on my bud's mame cabinet. my fingers are flying, and i decide to try SM again the next day after a hiatus of a few weeks.

i drink about a lite of cherry pepsi and
what happens is, I pwn quasar, A halloween (heavy), and beat halloween (challenge) -- btw, 1handed

i had never done any of those things before so it was really weird. my fingers knew what they were doin by themselves. now that all this caffeine is out of my system I suck again. has this ever happened to anyone else? it's weird that just drinking soda enhances my SM abilities. wTf

I also play onehanded and I can AA Halloween Heavy, but I can hardly pass Quasar though. What's your secret?

Also, I know what you mean about your fingers just knowing what they're doing. In songs at with higher BPMs (that is, of a speed where I can't read and play whole 16th runs) I can go through about 10 16ths in a row without even knowing that I'd hit all of them. The only way I know is that my combo wasn't broken. I love it when I'm in the zone like that.

wow. Nothing like thats ever happened to me. i only play indexes. Better then i could do. I haven't played sm in about a month and i played R2 today and i sucked really bad

I wish I knew what happened other than "I drank a lot of soda." It's tough when you're in the zone and you come back 3 hours later and you're at the level you are typically at.

Also, I've found that Quasar is most definitely not my favorite of the songs that Eggman does steps for. Sphere, and Resonate 1796 are more fun IMHO.

when i'm not tired a can do really good stuff.. when I am tired it's really annoying because i can't read songs that I usually can. I duno about caffeine though.
