Re: 9th Official Tournament -- Round 1
Actually got a better result on my first try on the D3 song than I have from 5 attempts of the D2 one. I think the timing is just veeeery slightly off. Best I could do was 5 goods on D2 and 3 goods on D3. Hmmmmm lol

Re: 9th Official Tournament -- Round 1
I've been playing the d5 song for the last like 40 minutes and I've really forgotten how fun playing competitively was. I swear this song got my adrenaline running a lot more than it should have but I'm still getting back into the swing of things. So, heres hoping 2g will hold me for a while.

Re: 9th Official Tournament -- Round 1
OMG, so stoked with this run I thought this was going to be like Retro City all over again with the jacks and stuff where I'd be eliminated in round 1 >.< Managed to go from 20+ good sightread, to consistently getting around 7-8 goods, to this out of nowhere.
(Also wowowow! I FC'ed o.o) |

I played the files and the only one that felt a bit weird was Mirage Garden because of how messy 156 BPM is for 16ths (random sudden 2 frame speedups in the 16th parts, etc). I need more details. |

D5 is offsync. I have to use -1 on it. I think someone said 6 & 7 were the same thing

Re: 9th Official Tournament -- Round 1
So it's a global offset issue then? If that's the case that is an easy adjustment, it's just the post sounded like certain parts felt way off, not just a global offset issue

Re: 9th Official Tournament -- Round 1
As far as I know that's what it seems like most are saying. I didn't try D7s file myself.

Re: 9th Official Tournament -- Round 1
I sent a message to Deidara in regards to this, but after a second look at his level ranks, he most certainly is not D1 anymore (not even referring to Reading for Days).
Being that the entry for D3 was pretty close to obtaining [Heavy], I do not agree with moving Deidara to D3, despite the booflag on Round 1 for D3's song. D3 did start with a lower difficulty file compared to last time. He will be competing in Division 2 from here on out. In regards to the offset issue, it can easily be resolved in future cases, that's no big deal. Just utilize an offset right now and I'll address the problem. Re: 9th Official Tournament -- Round 1
I'm a guy (it's been on my profile too). Lol. That's beside the point. Anyways, now that I'm D2, I'll make my best efforts, and good luck to everyone else. I'm coming after you!

All this tournament has shown me is that my skill has seriously decayed.. lol D4 pls. Maybe back in the day I would have had a shot at this, nowadays these old bones can't move as quickly as they used to

Re: 9th Official Tournament -- Round 1
I'll check on this now. In this case I just have to shift 1 frame.

Re: 9th Official Tournament -- Round 1
D7 seemed to be fine for me, but D5 and D6 were off (prob have to shift up a frame or two), although D6 was fine for the first ~20 secs.
