Re: The smexiness that is Blazblue
Litchi's alright, I main as Ranga, secondary is V-13, and then 3rd is Noel. Noel has some cheap combos, but Ragna is still one of the best characters. V-13 is hard to use but still the best character in the game, idk why, but when she talks to Ragna and her robot voice changes to that cute girls, and she acts like a nympho masochist, I get really turned on..."Remember the last time we met? You hurt me really bad, I bled a lot. Remember? You pierced me all over, penetrated me, slashed me to pieces? Didn't it feel amazing? You knew what you were doing, and you loved it, and I loved it too...now Ragna! Lets express our love! *Insert creepy laugh with stabbing noises*"
Love this game sooo much, great story, art, and gameplay. IMO, better than guilty gear

Re: The smexiness that is Blazblue
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the current tier layout is:
S Tier - V-13, Arakune, Rachel A Tier - Ragna the Bloodedge, Taokaka B+ Tier - Litchi Faye Ling, Jin Kisaragi B Tier - Bang Shishigami, Noel Vermillion C+ Tier - Carl Clover, Hakumen C Tier - Iron Tager that's what it is in Japan at least, but luckily the game is extremely balanced, and skill makes all the difference, for example Tager is the worst character because he has no dash move, is slow, and his attacks are also slow, but he has long range, and does more damage than any other characters, but is easy to chain combo, while V-13, Arakune, and Rachel are all extremely hard to use for noobies, or at least hard to use properly, I know many noobs whore Rachels sword Iris, which is annoying as hell... However, if someone masters V-13 perfectly, she's pretty much unbeatable, but that's extremely hard to do

Tier lists only matter when you're actually in the upper-tiers of players, really. A "tier list" for mid and lower level players would be retarded because Jin and Noel would be S-tier (play lv 1-20 people online - nothing but scrub Jins/Noels). Noel also doesn't have cheap combos at all; while yes, it's easy to pull off Chain Revolver by smashing all your buttons after triggering the inital Drive you can't just keep smashing. If you whiff, the entire animation for that attack must complete before you're mobile again (unless you rapid cancel) which means characters with huge range and high priority hits (Tager, Haku-men) or characters with projectiles (don't need to name them) will just smack you in the face for a CH then beat you up however they want. Noel isn't cheap at all, even if you know how to use her. It's just a common misconception from newer players who don't know how to beat it out. >_> I suck, but I can tell a good Noel from a bad one and chain revolver is not the end-all-be-all of a match. With that said I'm talking about stuff beyond my scope of ability and knowledge because while I can beat out flowchart ICECAR!!!!! spam Jins and noob Noels I'm still not very good with Rachel at all. I also show 0 proficiency with any other character so my words might be bigger than me so please take what I say with a pinch of salt. 8)

Re: The smexiness that is Blazblue
is fine, my problem is the Noel's I fight are like Cassis Night's, who is in the top 100 on the leaderboards and is like level 32 or something I'm pretty good, but Jin is annoying, even to pro's if another person whore's him, if you get caught in a musou chain after your barrier burst your screwed (if he rapid cancels properly)

Re: The smexiness that is Blazblue
I don't see why you threw V-13 in top tier.
All her moves are just spamming bullets, she's like that stupid knife girl from IaMP, Xiao knows who the **** im talking about. I hate her. Also, i'm buying a copy probably Wednesday, might have xboxlive or not, have to wait and see first. All i know is Noel has some pretty amazing combos as well as every other character. I would say she is slightly better than Ragna. I use both and from what i've done so far is Noel is kinda like the metaknight of SSBB, doesn't hit to hard, but can combo well and dish out more in the long run anyways.

Re: The smexiness that is Blazblue
Im getting my new 360 on thursday when I get paid, but I pre-ordered this game already.
Music rocks. Graphics are amazing. Played it at friends house and loved it. I normally don't enjoy 2-d fighters, but I have to make an exception for this. |

Re: The smexiness that is Blazblue
Good luck thinking this will ever be out in europe. It just looked so amazing that i had to import it.
This is my first proper fighting game so it's pretty hard for me. I quite like BANG BANG BANG BANGGGGG~ cuz eh a pretty cool guy and fights for justice and he has his own super power theme song and I quite like taokaka since she is quite fast and agile. Both are fun to play to me. I been spending a lot of time in training mode just getting all the specials down and such but hopefully soon I will be ready for online! I mean really i spent like a few hours just trying to beat v-13 in arcade mode orz **** her sword spamming and running away shiz. and ICECAR Jins are annoying as **** too. The game has got some of the best netcode i seen though totally lagless play.
