Prince of Persia
Ok, I'm thinking of getting Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. The game looks like teh win, and I've heard nothing but good things about it. Tell me, is there anyone here who has it, should I run out and buy it or is there some life-threatening reason why I shouldn't?

I think this is a great game for one... It's really fun to play and - Wait a second, I just remembered I've never seen it and have no idea what it's about. Guess my oppinion doesn't count for much does it?

Yeah, I got it. Seriously, out there, this game= teh win. Bit slow at first, but as soon as you get the dagger of time and you get the controls and abilities down, its awesome. The puzzles are difficult but not hard, the battles are challenging but still fun even if you keep failing, gameplay is deep and the graphics are extremely well rendered. If you have a spare 20+ hours laying around, get this game.

The story is simple...
Prince of Persia finds a magic dagger, is tricked into unlocking an oversized hourglass, father along with everyone but him and one girl turn into zombie-like sand people, prince learns how to control time... Sim-ple. |

It really is awesome. I'm almost at the end, and the story is intreging as well, I can't wait to finish it so I can play it again. Couple gripes about it: the camera is a bit annoying, and some of the puzzles (mainly the big shiny cylander one and the one near the end with the infinite rooms) were more annoying than fun. But when all is said and done, I really really loved this game. No, really. GO BUY THIS GAME. I agree with Destruction, it is one of the best games I have ever played.

Dude, POP is awesome. But I found the characters a bit annoying and flat in terms of emotions. You just cant sympathize with them.
If you like POP...you'll love Ico. Seriously. |
