Nintendo is both awesome and behind in the world of consoles.
I haven't heard of this Nintendo Revolution, either. I assume it's like Nintendo's answer to Xbox Live. Am I rite? If that's what it is, I may just have to get this so I can get owned by all the SSB geeks all over the world. Actually I probably wouldn't get owned, I'd just get beaten badly. Then again, I do wield a mighty pikachu... On a related note, I just got SSB for N64. I never owned a copy of my own, and I just got it for christmas. I still have to unlock Luigi, though.

RE: Re: RE: Nintendo Revolution
I thought Revolution is the code name for the newest Next-Gen console from Nintendo, not an online subscription like X-Box Live?

Nintendo is the beginning and end of video games. Don't get technical on who came first; video games would've died had Nintendo not stopped making flower cards to get into the gaming business.
Where did you hear about Nintendo Revolution? NP hasn't said a peep about a new console yet....

Care to explain how Nintendo is behind?
They have the best graphic capabilities. They have the best games. The console does not overheat. The console never locks up; even if you kick it around and such (I've tested this). How is this behind? I'd love an explanation. ~Squeek |

Look Nintendo's reign over all of us ended after the release of the PS2 and X-Box. It's only hope right now is through the DS which probably is going to be crushed by the release of the PSP. And don't start with me Nintendo Fanboys. We all know its going to happen.
On a side note, no Nintendo did not help bring games back. Pong did. Don't believe me? Watch Icons on G4TechTV.

I still don't see this "LOSS OF MONEY AND GOING BANKRUPT ZOMG" thing you're talking about.
Sure, most teenagers prefer PS2 or XBOX over a Gamecube. But, you're not including families with younger children in this list of yours. Families with many pre-teen kids would prefer a console with a higher ratio of games that apply to their children. Gamecube outsells all others in that age bracket. Nintendo is not losing money. Heck, they're even making an anime branch in Japan so they can expand their market even FARTHER! By the way, Gameboy has always been Nintendo's top seller. You don't need to tell me that. I have no doubt in my mind that the DS will outsell the PSP. Just wait until the DS has been out a year, then compare it to the PSP's one year anniversary sales and we'll see who wins. ~Squeek |

PRICES DS: $150, games about $30. PSP: $170-230, games about $50. BATTERY LIFE DS: Up to about 16 hours (I tested it). PSP: No more than 10 hours (By *~SONY RELEASED~* specs) GAMES DS: Nintendo's quality titles, Feel the Magic: XY/XX, and so many more to come.... PSP: *cough* FEATURES DS: Microphone, touch sceen, two screens, wireless capability. PSP: Can play movies, music, AND video games, much like you can at home... with more popular, more widely supported formats. Nintendo's games don't require a memory card, while PSP games do. Isn't that a little, erm, inconvenient? And what was Sony thinking? Using discs in a portable game system? We all saw that was an iffy move from the start.... I have to admit, what I've said may be a little one-sided or unfair, but not much. If you generalize, DS still comes out on top. Plus, PSP sales are already crumbling. Now, isn't that a shame? How can it come out on top if it isn't even selling on launch? EDIT: Evilbean, you forgot this one: http://www.gamesarefun.com/consoles/psp/pspdefect1.mov How can I play my games now, guys?
