I've found it easiest to read it with the Velocity skin due to the black outlines.

mmhmm, and if it is hard to read, just 1x and screencut. Velos engine makes it easier to see again with noteskins, but the screencut takes out a good chunk of the vid. How do you think I sdg'd it?

I think a tip from Patashu summarized how to overcome the difficulty of the file nicely: One way to compensate for poor visibility is to look at it from the perspective of the sim artist. What's going on in a certain part of the song, and how might it have been translated into arrows? For example, after the jumpstream, the rest of the file is basically 16th gallops with each one starting on the arrow the last one ended on. (I still ended up mashing the 32nd dump halfway through to get my FC, but that was more of a speed issue than readability.)

I'd say it's about equal. It does seem worse though that one has to experience the nightmare all over again. This time, you'll suffer from camouflaged white notes and a background that'll be as dizzy as a rollercoaster ride. I didn't think so when I first saw the video, but playing with the video is just not the same.

You guys will love every bit of it. :P

With Velocity's noteskin the BG songs become much more readable (even if it's still difficult to read)
