Default FFR syncage issues.

Yea, I always wanted to know if stuff like this is going to be fixed.

I remeber seeing it in about every song on ffr while posting SS's of in game shots in the "Guess the song from the screenshot" game thread.

Here's an example (rericked) Notice how the arrows arn't even flowing, they have bigger spaces at some spots and smaller ones at others.


I'll get more ss's.


Haha, forget which song this is. Look how seperated the second jumps are compared to the first, when they shoud be the same xD.

i've noticed that with jacks too. Some will look much more far apart than others. Novo mundo is a good example.

Yea, these are what give random goods when you're actually on beat.

Is it just the FPS's that do this?

Aim anthem is all 4 framers, and then every once in a while it'll skip and have one 5 framer. this is simply because of the frame rate of ffr, there's nothing they can do to fix this, other than up the frame rate of this game, but that's most likely not happening for a long time to come.

They would just have it render the arrows more often... Like in SM, it goes as high as it can usually...

But the reason they don't, is because it would cause lag... Probably a large amount of it too...

I've suggested it, as it would improve the game, but it's not a big enough fix that it would solve that... As long as the frame rate doesn't match the BPM, there will always be a gap.. Even on SM.

Maybe the gap for perfects is how it is because of the syncage issues. Thus, they won't be making the gap smaller until they deal with the syncage issues.

believe me, i noticed this on rericked also... and on many other songs...

nothing we can do, until 3rd style, which will have at least double the framerate. which means those gaps will be 50% less often and 50% as far apart.

Timing of FFR is lenient enough for those gaps, so not a big deal anyway.
