RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Song of the week - Delirium
That's one hell of a good song. The last Dance inclusions - Halogen, Tribal Trascendency, and this - were really good songs!
The steps are a bit hard for one-hand playing, but they're not impossible, so I managed to get 790k on it... Anyways, good job.

in case anyone else was wondering...
lightdarkness42 (9:54:28 PM): what are you talking about the arrow colors lightdarkness42 (9:54:33 PM): they are the exact same in SM stressreliefball (9:54:36 PM): yes stressreliefball (9:54:43 PM): but some quarter notes are blue stressreliefball (9:54:47 PM): and some eighth notes are red lightdarkness42 (9:55:04 PM): Uhh, you sure? stressreliefball (9:55:10 PM): yeah... lightdarkness42 (9:55:18 PM): Cause they might be like 12ths and 24s stressreliefball (9:55:22 PM): no stressreliefball (9:55:32 PM): there are no 12ths and 24ths stressreliefball (9:55:37 PM): unless moogy is retarded lightdarkness42 (9:55:40 PM): Nothing I can do about the colors lightdarkness42 (9:55:44 PM): thats what the converter did stressreliefball (9:55:51 PM): hmm stressreliefball (9:57:28 PM): yeah right around 240ish combo stressreliefball (9:57:43 PM): there is a pattern with three eighth doubles in a row stressreliefball (9:57:53 PM): the second and third should both not be blue.... that's what I mean stressreliefball (9:58:08 PM): actually it might be 340ish lightdarkness42 (9:58:20 PM): I know what you're talking about, and I can't fix it stressreliefball (9:58:44 PM): not a big deal, it just kind of messes with your head a little |

RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Song of the week - Delirium
Ok. 3 things.
Moogy, EXCELLENT stepfile. Gives a decent challenge, but I think it should be an 11 because the steps remind me of Uber Rave. There's no doubles caught into the 16th beat runs. Don't matter though. Very nice job. Now all of you that think this song sucks, is just wrong. This song is a very nice addition to the dance section. And last but not least...no offense to anybody, but how can you guys not clear 1 million? I was only 10,000 points away from a high score on my first try (somewhere around the 1,550,000 range). Don't mind me...carry on... EDIT: If you play two handed, read the last paragraph. If you play one handed...that's an impressive score. I got less than 600,000 one handed. |

KeeL's done better songs, but it's not bad.
Steps were good. I had a tendency to get ahead on the streams though. LD, get rights to R8U -Rave Medley Nonstop- and I'll step it in a flash.

a note on the steps, I think it's interesting that moogy copied the basic ladder (double single double single) idea from duk for the eigths in the song. I'm not sure if it could be done differently without being boring... I'll have to check the original bmr or mwerp or whoever that did this.

The off-colored errors are the fault of the convertor. Whoever said it should be an 11: It is in the DWI. I don't know why they changed it. Also, thanks for the comments, guys. Glad you all like the file. |

RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Song of the week - Delirium
Obviously I like the song cause of SM and ITG but the steps weren't terrible but weren't great; just the patterns weren't anything special.
EDIT: Steps are garbage, I actually played the whole way through..really gay.

RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Song of the week - Delirium
what I truely didn't like about this song were the jumps. Those were really hard. Everything else wasnt that tough because the streams were basic.

--- I play sudden because it makes me think faster, and it makes me feel as if I am playing higher speed. You know how FFR goes at C300? Well on sudden the arrows appear half way up and make my brain think I am actually playing C600, as I see them on the screen for the same amount of time. It's the closest simulation to highspeed I can get on R1. It tricks some peoples brains into thinking it's C600, some people don't think that way so it doesn't work for them. I did. I can't use sudden on some songs, mostly those with backgrounds that blend with the arrows, because that makes my brain think its about C2000 because I can't see the arrows til the last millisecond. Dilirium usually WOULD blend in, but with the new-ish colored arrows, it makes it easier. |
