I don't know if I should put this in a random thought or make a thread, so I made a thread.

Yeah, I'm quilting

, not knitting, just the sewing. No, it's not because I've gotten cold and itchy, it's because I'm getting addicted to the warmth and I've been wanting blankets and I need to get my needle back in track.

But don't worry, I might be crocheting.....someday. I'm currently working on a denim block with embroideries and embellishments which will be added on in the near future. After I create the backing will be my first day modifying a quilt pattern for awhile. I'll still go on ironing once in a blue moon, and I'll also be on swatches, I just won't be as invested on the knitting as I used to be. So yea, just wanted to say goodbye to coldness and wishing everybody a happy summer.

Reminds me of my great grandmother, as all she usually does is quilting/crocheting.

I actually would like to try all of it, seems pretty neat. I would love to make my own slippers/blankets like my great grandma does every winter for my mother and I. ;[

Quilting, knitting and those other hobbies seem so interesting, but I would never have the patience for it. xD
