Re: Bugs that don't deserve their own thread
i dont think its a ddos attack. think its an issue with the server. maybe a hardware problem. if it were a ddos attack, there wouldnt be such a low ping response time from the server as seen below:
C:\Documents and Settings\mark>ping flashflashrevolution.com -n 15 Pinging flashflashrevolution.com [96.30.8.143] with 32 bytes of data: Reply from 96.30.8.143: bytes=32 time=14ms TTL=54 Reply from 96.30.8.143: bytes=32 time=13ms TTL=54 Reply from 96.30.8.143: bytes=32 time=19ms TTL=54 Reply from 96.30.8.143: bytes=32 time=13ms TTL=54 Reply from 96.30.8.143: bytes=32 time=13ms TTL=54 Reply from 96.30.8.143: bytes=32 time=18ms TTL=54 Reply from 96.30.8.143: bytes=32 time=14ms TTL=54 Reply from 96.30.8.143: bytes=32 time=14ms TTL=54 Reply from 96.30.8.143: bytes=32 time=14ms TTL=54 Reply from 96.30.8.143: bytes=32 time=14ms TTL=54 Reply from 96.30.8.143: bytes=32 time=16ms TTL=54 Reply from 96.30.8.143: bytes=32 time=20ms TTL=54 Reply from 96.30.8.143: bytes=32 time=16ms TTL=54 Reply from 96.30.8.143: bytes=32 time=13ms TTL=54 Reply from 96.30.8.143: bytes=32 time=19ms TTL=54 Ping statistics for 96.30.8.143: Packets: Sent = 15, Received = 15, Lost = 0 (0% loss), Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds: Minimum = 13ms, Maximum = 20ms, Average = 15ms

Re: Bugs that don't deserve their own thread
I guess just re-booting the server isn't possible? Wouldn't that take the site offline for like 10 minutes- half an hour but clear all the sessions? It seems like that would knock out all the running sessions from my basic computer understanding. If we are getting DDoS'd there has to be another solution then "We'll wait for you to crash us completely".

Re: Bugs that don't deserve their own thread
After getting all perfects on the song "One last battle", the game keeps glitching and counting the last note as a miss. It seems like the song ends before the last arrow goes by. Any suggestions?

Re: Bugs that don't deserve their own thread
The database couldn't keep up with the amount of requests. Thats also what caused the forums to say the server is busy.
Generally you don't want to be inserting about 2k rows into a table every 5 seconds. |

I keep randomly getting logged out. Like, I'll be on a page of the site for a while and go to visit the forums or something and I'll be logged out.

Re: Bugs that don't deserve their own thread
Just wanted to notify that at this very moment, the server is getting the heaviest slow-downs I ever seen to date. I believe it's the same problem, but this is making the game response very sluggish. Score registration time has increased up to one minute

Yep yep time for a restart or whatever the drill here is...Think it woulda become routine by now but seems we have to keep bitching about it for a slight bit of time for the fix to come =)

Re: Bugs that don't deserve their own thread
Cloudflare can still be Ddosed and would set the site into offline mode meaning for all intents and purposes would work worse
