Default The Ultimate Pad Pack (Cross Posted)

This is the Ultimate Pad Pack, which was cross-posted from EightOverNo (www.cjota.proboards58.com).

Quote:
General Rules
- Each stepper is allowed a total of 5 simfiles into the pack
- Each stepper is allowed 2 simfiles they have already created and released
- Try to keep new simfiles made for this pack as unreleased as possible
- If your simfile is accepted into the pack, it still has the chance of getting bumped out of the pack by a new simfile that was submitted after yours and was better

Song/Simfile Rules
- Difficulties for this pack range from 9-15
- Expert only (full difficulties will be looked at higher than only 1 difficulty)
- Songs can be as long as you want, just not TOO long
- Mines, Hands, and Rolls are allowed
- We want simfiles that can be played on pad, this means nothing that can only be 'heel-toed'
- Graphics are required (we will not make any for you unless its a special circumstance, there are a lot of graphic artists out there so it shouldn't be hard at all. You can make the graphics once you know the simfile is accepted.)

This is how the layout of the pack will look. 5 simfiles for each difficulty. Once the slots are taken up they cannot be changed unless another simfile comes in and is better than one already in there, or if we decide the difficulty needs to get bumped up one or down one.

Simfile Guidelines
This is what we will look for when judging submitted simfiles:

- Do the steps follow the music well?
- Do the steps flow well (no double steps)
- Is there some creativity in the simfiles? (Fun turns, freezes, gimmicks)
- Do any BPM changes or Stops make sense? (Are they there because the music does stop or slow down, or are they there for decoration)

Submitting your Simfile
Once you believe your simfile is complete and has the correct rating, send an email to UltimatePadPack@yahoo.com with the following in the email:

- Your simfile attached in .zip or .rar form
- Your userhandle for forums that you want to be tacked on your simfiles
- Song difficulty

Give us a few days to look over it, and we will email you back whether it is in or not. If we accept it, we will give you more information on what you need to do.

As of right now, there is no deadline for this pack, basically I want to fill up all the slots before its released, but if we can't I want at least most of it filled up! If you want to keep track of the list, just go here.
According to C Jota, the pack leader, each difficulty will have a submission cap as well.

I will be managing the acceptance list over here so that it's easier for the FFR submitters to get to.

Hey guys whats up, I decided to register here (got banned years ago).

I'm C Jota, the leader of all this. If you got any questions you can post in here or just email UltimatePadPack@yahoo.com

EnR - No, there is no limit for song length, step whatever you want, but be advised if its an 11 block or lower, you have to make Easy-Expert for it

I look forward to seeing many submissions from here. Feel free to let your friends know, and if you would like to post this at other forums, there is a thread in the home of the pack, cjota.proboards58.com where you can just copy and paste the code.

So if our file is a 12, 13, 14 or 15, we're exempt from having to make easier charts?

The only reason a 12 would be exempt is if its a hard 12, but not hard enough to be a 13, and it determined a 'Boss Song'

but for 13+ blocks, they definitely do not require the easier charts, as they will be the boss songs of the pack.

Just wanted to let everyone know that as long as the simfile isn't horrendous, and there are slots open for that difficulty, your simfile is automatically in for the time being. Keep in mind that they can be booted out at anytime by a better simfile.
