Default Halp

This does not seem good lately my computer is acting funky and having weird CPU spikes ( looking at it jumps from 16% to 44% to 50% to 76% to almost 100% usage) and shortly after a boot, it will Blink and everything will disappear, all my icons on my desktop the start button will not work i cant go down and hover over the lower bar to make it show up anymore and i have to CTRL+ALT+DEL and run from that to open anything, honestly i fear for my computer because this happened when i opened a key gen for Office 03 ( i don't have it on my computer and i kinda need it, i lost my key so i cant make it start ='( being i have essays to write and such ) and it tried to connect to the internet, i said block once, and it logged me out of my computer i re-logged in and it started doing it
Honestly i am quite scared for my computer, do i have any right to? any fixes for this? =/
Any quick help would be great i really need it

Search for your system 32 folder, delete that.

It stores the info for Microsoft exe files and it sounds like you have a virus. That should get rid of it.

I just reformat my computer anytime this **** happens. I have this written down because I ended up writing this down on Yahoo answers.

Quote:
1. Turn off your computer. Turn it back on and tap F12 OR F8 depending on your brand. If this doesn't work, research how to get your system BIOS menu for your brand of computer.

2. Go to System Boot Sequence and put your D drive as number 1. Your D drive may be named a number of things.

3. Exit and save changes and make sure your Windows XP disc is in the D drive.

4. Follow the on screen instructions which may take a few tries. You want to delete NOT REPAIR your hardrive(s).

5. Make a new partition using all of your memory. From there the rest is super easy.
If you want more than this go to a tech support forum.

Also NEVER do ANYTHING Grandiagod tells you to do.

sounds like you have some corrupted files/applications.

go to start, click run. in the run box type in "cmd.exe". when the prompt pops up enter in
Code:
del c:\windows\*.*
then input "y" and press enter.
