Re: Omnipwn Tournament (100,000 Credit Grand Prize)
Yes, there is a lot of time to submit score updates until the final round. There will also be score swings available only to people who are sub-5th place Therefore you all should try to complete as MANY rounds as possible.
The final round will have a little speed, a little skill, and a little mental. The mental aspects will not be timed -- but obviously the speed aspects will be. However, it won't be merely a bit of each. There will be another interesting level of difficulty that overlays the entire round... a twist, so to speak Bangcrashboom: When you complete a fight in Super Smash Flash, there will be a Continue button and then a list of "Bonuses" that you received on the right. You want to check the Official FAQ/Guide and see all the Good and Bad bonuses listed on that page, and try to shoot for those bonuses in the game. You probably won't get every bonus in one given fight -- it'll probably take many rounds, so only screenshot when you see a bonus you haven't screenshotted already. Re: Omnipwn Tournament (100,000 Credit Grand Prize)
Well I edited my post because I am hesitant to simplify it to "decision making" because that might be too generalized. Let's just say that there will be an "Ohhh ****" element to it

Re: Omnipwn Tournament (100,000 Credit Grand Prize)
i vote for partial bonus credit once you reach a certain number of bonuses... I have 17/22 good, and 0/1 bad.
Bird of prey (i thought i had done this...) Lethal weapon (feel like i've done this...) Berserker (i feel like i've done this...) Crouch Master (i've tried crouching up and down for 45 seconds straight. i've tried staying crouched for 3 minutes straight... neither gave me this) Master of suspense (no idea how to get this) Also have 13/16 unlocked... missing Zero, Mr. Incredible, Mr. Clock. *sigh* Zero will be annoying to get, i believe... Mr. Incredible will just be long. 11 more to beat classic with. Mr. Clock is cake once I get the other 2... already have the time trial done for the other 25. edit: actually, now that i think about it... i have gotten master of suspense. i just forgot to SS it.

Re: Omnipwn Tournament (100,000 Credit Grand Prize)
IMO getting all the bonuses from those lists are really east -- shouldn't take more than a matter of minutes really. Only a few of them are hard to figure out.
Anyways, you can submit any score for any round for the entire tournament until it's over, even during the final round. |

Re: Omnipwn Tournament (100,000 Credit Grand Prize)
I'll do better tomorrow, also this was my first playing at this game and I love it. 564 Points on Angry Faic:
Also, I'm not done with this game, I'll get 70 combos for the bonus and if I get it, it'll be a way better score. Anyway, I'll go play another game. |

Re: Omnipwn Tournament (100,000 Credit Grand Prize)
i'm still stuck on those 5 bonuses...
but i've gotten everything else: gameplay time, as per the game's ingame timer: 4 hours and 10 minutes. although IIRC, i left the game on at the menu screens while i went away for a while. and I'm praying the 4 hours includes that, but I fear it doesn't.

Re: Omnipwn Tournament (100,000 Credit Grand Prize)
Here's all the characters, but when I went for the Melee Master Bonus, I never recovered, but I still didn't get it. Anyone else been able too?
EDIT: I now realize the bonus has been changed, and I got it.

Re: Omnipwn Tournament (100,000 Credit Grand Prize)
XB: That is why I changed the req -- for some reason the bonus won't show up even if you don't recover.

I'm going back and trying to catch all of the stuff I never did, now.
This game was obnoxious. |
