Help AAA'ing songs
Hey guys, haven't posted here before because my other account (Ritchie1104) is messed up and I couldn't post with it for some reason. Anyway, I've been playing ffr maybe a year and for some reason I still can't AAA the simplest of songs (for example excite bike) I have no idea why I can't AAA such simple songs.
In short there's gotta be something I'm missing here I just don't get it. Is there some secret to this or what? :/ I play spread askl keys and 2.0 speedmod. |

Re: Help AAA'ing songs
practice practice pracitce... yeah it takes some time to get the AAA's but what i did is go through all that songs and try to FC ( Full Combo ) and do that for the easy songs and move on to the harder songs. Once you have multiple FC's and you have been practicing and playing long enough you should start back with the AAA's of the easy songs. That way you will be working on PA ( Perfect Average ) on the songs.
Just keep playing and dont get frustrated with trying to AAA. Just have fun its just a game =] |

Re: Help AAA'ing songs
I thought PA meant Perfect Attack O.o
Anyways, know the song. The steps (atleast they should) go along with the beats of the song, so that should help you out.

Re: Help AAA'ing songs
things to watch out for:
1. the perfect window stretches two frames above an arrow and no frames below it - that means that all songs in FFR should be hit a bit early 2. keyboard or OS related lag will make hitting within the perfect range incredibly difficult

Re: Help AAA'ing songs
I'd suggest play really simple songs until you really get the hang of following the beat and getting perfects. Then, just move up in difficulty. That's how I did it, but you can get really bored along the way, since you'll have to play really easy songs.

Re: Help AAA'ing songs
Yeah, you don't have to be at 2x to AAA easy songs. There aren't that many arrows, you should be able to see them just fine, just focus on the beat and try to match it. You're definitely fast enough to hit all the arrows in Excite Bike, all you need to do is memorize the patterns, memorize the beat, and don't panic. You're probably going too fast.

excite bike is a fishy song
took me like 12 tries to actually AAA it you should work on PA AAA's shouldn't be a main concern of yours if you've been playing for only one year

Re: Help AAA'ing songs
Well good news made some progress. Got ok PA finally but it was an easy song. I switched to using firefox as my browser and I magically got better =/ Maybe it was possible internet explorer was lagging the game or something.

Re: Help AAA'ing songs
you got 11-0-0-0 on seven yet you can't AAA excite bike...
if you dont AAA in one try, keep trying. move your speedmod down when going for the easy AAAs. forget about harder songs and go back to easy ones.

Re: Help AAA'ing songs
speedmod, speedmod, speedmod. Seems like everyone got here before me. Try 1.5 should make the easier songs easier to AAA.
