Default So I found my digital camera (56k insults the archaitects)

And what a search it was. I had to search through my brother's room for it, and his room is quite terrifying. I have no clue how he can sleep in there.

Anyway, time for the pictures:

My manga shelf. I don't have much, but that's because few manga series interest me:

My anime stuff shelf. Chocola 2001 and 2002 are on the left and bottom, respectively, and Pita-Ten Illustrations and Perfect Works are on the right:

Finally, my shelf of anime. Not all of these boxes are filled completely, but I still have around 150 dvds. A cookie goes to whoever can identify every series here:

What? Shouldn't this be in the anime forum, you say? Well, I'm not done yet! Time for my cats, who are awesome

This is Emani. He is fat and very sweet:

This is Skimbleshanks. He is fatter, and can be quite mean:

This is Soy Sauce. Yes, that is his real name. Yes, he is in a sink:

Finally, Apples. She is almost as old as me, and is the sweetest cat on the planet:

Unfortunately, I was not able to arrange a photo shoot with either Brak or Mumma Kat. Pictures of them might come at some point in the future, along with pictures of Sammy, Jasemine, Maia (all dogs), and Sheba (a sheep). Now on to some other stuff.

Some kids had a stuffed bear when they were a kid. Not me. I had Sheepy. And I still have her to this day. And I will probably still have her the day I die:

My computer setup, where I spend much of my life. Sheepy is taking my place in this picture:

And finally...

The moment you have all been waiting for...

It's a me!

Comment on my pictures, or make requests for shots I should take. Nothing stupid or obscene, please.

Send us a picture of you, at your anime store of choice, buying Cowboy Bebop.

Two problems with that.

One: I order all of my anime online. MUCH cheaper that way.

Two: I don't like Cowboy Bebop very much. Not nearly enough to buy it.

Oh, and tsutter, a lot of anime on my shelf is easily identifiable. But I very much doubt you can identify ALL of it.

And I quite like my hair. I'm not going to cut it (it goes down to my lower back when straight, just so you know).

You sure love anime. Nothing wrong with that of course :]

Do you find having your keyboard angled like that is uncomfortable after long periouds of time? My desk is similar to yours but I have to hold my keyboard on my lap because theres no room at the front..

Hopefully I get a new desk soon :]

Nice kittys!

ok.

There are only two problems I see in your anime collection:

1. Too much .hack//Legend of the Twilight Bracelet.

2.Not enough Neon Genesis Evangelion.

.hack was an impulse buy when I was depressed. I have no interest in getting any more of it, and I might sell or give away the first dvd+box that I have.

I saw Eva years ago. I have no interest in buying it.

On a side note, despite being ordered alphabetically, the top shelf is composed almost entirely of some of my favorites - Alien Nine, Battle Atheletes, Angelic Layer, Fruits Basket, and Figure 17. None of the other shelves have this kind of density of quality (although the middle shelf, with Magical Project S and Mahoromatic right next to each other comes close).

Yay. You beat my anime collection by far.

Mine:

30 friggin dollars. What a joke. Never ever buy anime from Best Buy.

However, it was well worth it to support this show. Tsubasa will be airing next season. Can't wait.

Squeek's only plushie -

~Squeek

PS - No Last Exile yet? What are you waiting for?

PPS - I may have to buy the R.O.D. boxset after finishing it last night. What an amazing show.

/drool at the H&HC and SMJ boxsets. Is that SMJ Ultimate one of the limited collectors editions that was signed by the creator? I wanted one of those like nothing else, but had already purchased everything prior to its release.

Azumanga Cat > Trigun Cat, and you know it.

Kefit:
I guess I should have figured you wouldn't like Bebop, a vast majority of your anime appears to be lighthearted comedy. Escaflowne is probably my favorite one on your shelf.

Chardish, I have never seen nor plan upon seeing Azumanga Diaoh. I don't know why.

Nothing could possibly beat the Trigun Kitty. The cat from FLCL was cool, but had no lines and no name. He also didn't appear completely out of the blue and meow only to leave the screen in the next shot.

I didn't like Escaflowne as much as everybody else did, either. I loved Read or Die, so that's my favorite on your shelf there. I'd take pictures of my stuff but...that won't be too interesting. It'd be like, the CCS movie, the Kuroneko plush, and the Kuroneko keychain. Woot. Maybe I could photograph the spindles of burned anime my friend and I have accumulated. My computer's picture is somewhere on this site. Probably in the post a picture of your room thread.

It's true, Kuroneko > all. Even Pero² from Kare Kano.

Escaflowne was fun, but I thought it was kind of shallow and I was left slightly unfulfilled. It did, however, have sexcellent music. Of course, that's to be expected when Kenji Kawai does it.

My friend has this theory that Escaflowne was the anime that should have been an RPG and Xenogears was the RPG that should have been an anime.

Best Buy is by far the best place to go for anime if you want to get it at a local retail outlet. Just don't go there for Pioneer/Geneon stuff - for some reason they don't mark it down like they do with the rest of their anime

Funny you should ask, as I just ordered the LE first dvd+box last night.

Yes, that is one of the Ultimate Boxsets.

And about the His and Her Circumstances box: http://www.rightstuf.com/1-800-338-6.../60300/4/153/0

I actually prefer serious anime to comedy most of the time. My favorite series are probably Alien Nine and Figure 17, both of which don't have an ounce of humor in them. I just don't like Cowboy Bebop. Probably a combination of not liking the episodic nature of the series combined with not liking any of the characters.

I still have to see all like 1000000 of those episodes. Wish me luck.

Though, technically, that's not a cat. It's just Mil eating out of a catfood dish.
