2. Almost cut your thumb clean through, and have to keep it in a splint made of medical tape and broken coffee stirrers.

Yeah, this happened to me about 2 days ago. Doesn't really hurt, just annoying to only have 1 working thumb.

Okay.

First, get an old pill bottle. Then get a movie theater straw, a rubber band, and an exacto-knife type thing that is not as sharp and goes back into the holder if pressed down.

Now, get the pill bottle, and try desperately to cut a perfect circle in the bottom of the bottle, never having the blade actually go into the bottle. Now, as you've made your, like, 6th hexagon that is not a circle, get a little frustrated and try harder. At this point, the knife will fly off of the side, unbeknownst to your expectations, and it will cut your thumb; Which, if done correctly, should be on the bottle in prime "Getting Cut" position.
