Re: The Dark Knight
I thought he looked more kick ass in The Dark Knight than in any of the comics. He even had a suit that was half burnt instead of being multicolored. At first, his character threw me off because it was significantly different from what I was used to, but I accepted Two-Face as an awesome person by the end. I love how the whole "I make my own luck" plays into the show because if you really think about it, even though he does all the coin-flips, he makes the decision on whether or not to kill when necessary.

Re: The Dark Knight
have you seen it!!?
I really enjoyed it. I usually don't bat an eye at movies that are 2+ hours, I just don't have the attention span, but this one kept my attention the whole time. The joker was arguably Heath Ledger's greatest role, and Christian Bale was alright. [sarcasm]Now, Morgan Freeman, that's a fantastic role, also arguably HIS best[/sarcasm] |

Oh, the best part of the movie:
Joker's Pencil Trick "And it's gone!"

Re: The Dark Knight
Saw it today. Epic. Best ever. Heaths Joker was phenomenal.
And yea, Jokers magic trick was the best.

I KNOW. THEY SHOULD HAVE HAD KEVIN CONROY DUB BATMAN'S DIALOGUE EVEN THOUGH IT WOULD MAKE NO SENSE AT ALL. They could have done better with the voice alone, but doing so would have probably required a different actor in the role.

That is probably the only thing I didn't like about the movie other than leaving it open for a sequel. Keanu Reeves could have done it better. |

Re: The Dark Knight
Hey so i went and saw this today. Was impressed. I'm glad they got rid of the "shaky" camera during the fight scenes that they had in the first film.
Joker was amazing, really going to miss him in the third movie (as Heath Ledger I mean). TwoFace was great too, memorable. Hell, most of the movie was great. I only noticed the length of the movie a couple of times, sometimes wondered when they would cut off and make you wait for the third movie, but they never did, they managed to cover everything well. Definitely looking forward to the next one. |

Re: The Dark Knight
wow that YouTube spoof is gold.
I was like, this Joker sucks ... I can't watch another Joker after Ledger played it so well ... then I realized it wasn't about the Joker, and then the lol's started. |

Maybe they should have just used a filter or dubbing or something. I do admit a different voice would have been better, I just don't think Bale could have done it much differently. And the problem you're identifying with it was definitely present in the first film, just that his voice becomes more intelligible as he applies more intensity, and he simply wasn't as intense vocally during most of the film. There are points in the first film where his voice isn't bad, there are points in this second film where his voice isn't bad, and there are points in each film where the voice is bad. It's just when it's more intense that it becomes harder to understand ("Where were the other drugs going?" and "Swear to me!" in Batman Begins, and this interrogation scene in Dark Knight, although there are actually portions of it in that scene where he pitches his voice lower without making it difficult to understand).

Re: The Dark Knight
ok so it was a very good movie to see. I loved the certain mannerisms that heath ledger was able to bring to the joker to give him that darker feeling, including the voice and the way he licks his lips every now and again. the joker was played so well. Heath did a great job digging down deep and finding that psychopath and bringing it do life.
I thought the special effects were visually pleasing and it is something i would love to see again. The acting from the main characters was done pretty good. Two-Faced that came in the end of the movie was awesome. That face is something i wont forget. Even though the length of the movie was about two hours and thirty minutes, the storyline was able to keep me interested and i didn't notice the length at all. I was surprised that i didn't find a dull moment in the movie. Great film, definitely one that will be remembered 9.5/10 |

Re: The Dark Knight
I haven't seen anyone mention this yet..which kinda surprises me, but i gotta say one of my favorite things about the movie is that siren-like noise that they made every time Joker was about to appear and make the **** hit the fan.
