Re: FireFox 3
Works fine for me. I can now play 2.0x with lag in high quality. I am very happy with FF3.

Re: FireFox 3
Why are you guys judging what internet browser to use based on how well it runs FFR? Use whatever browser you think is best for FFR, but keep FF3 for everything else.

Argo, I only downloaded it to play FFR on it, because Safari takes care of everything else.

Re: FireFox 3
I just played a couple of songs on FF3 and didn't get any lag at all. These reports seem to be pretty evenly split down the middle.

Re: FireFox 3
Where does it say that it is trying to set a world record for most downloads?

Re: FireFox 3
It isn't trying to set a world record. It is going to, considering there is currently no world record for most browser downloads in a day.
It'd be more accurate to say they're trying to set a record for most browser downloads that will stay on top for quite a long time. |

I think they're going for most software downloads, not browser.

Re: FireFox 3
Strangely the time is over, but the amount of downloads keeps going up. If it continues, it'll pass the 9 million downloads. Maybe it's because there was so much throughout the day that the server or counter or whatever couldn't keep up and is slowly catching up to the total count.

Re: FireFox 3
That's really weird...I thought the Download Day page said it ended. Then again, they did say "within 24 hours," and the download was only released halfway through the day.

Re: FireFox 3
I don't understand why ppl say IE is better for FFR or what this thing with a frame skip is with FireFox and whether they fixed it or not. My personal thing here (I'm running IE as I type this) is...well I couldn't play one song on IE with out lagging, I swear I'll be the first to get throw back in FFR -_-. FF3 works fine, I can only see the difference subtly but I can notice it.
Only reason I have IE is because Microsoft is a 5yr old child and won't update less it gets its way... I don't play FFR as much as I use to, and I've used Safari, my mother's computer has it (she runs vista) and I've noticed no diff between FF and Safari. IE however is just like me in that any attempt it makes to do good is automatically subcome by pure suck and fail -_-. And about the updates, I haven't been able to check out the firefox site cause I can't stop watching Ergo Proxy >: |!!!!!! |

It's pretty sexy but I don't do any better on FFR on my computer which runs Vista.
