NFL's greatest franchise.
Today, a friend and I were debating who the all time greatest NFL franchise is. I want the members of FFR to give their own opinion. Also, please do not vote for a team simply because they are your favorite team.
Edit: please do not vote against a team because you simply hate them.

Re: NFL's greatest franchise.
It's easy. The Steelers. 6 SB titles. More than any other franchise.

Re: NFL's greatest franchise.
Aside from the Green Bay Packers a couple years ago when they had Favre, the Dallas Cowboys have the largest fan-base in the NFL. It can be debated that the largest franchises are any of the 4 teams in the NFC East but Dallas wins by a long shot.

Re: NFL's greatest franchise.
The only place the Steelers beat the Cowboys is in Super Bowl Wins. Since their inception into the league in 1960, the Dallas Cowboys have made 10 Super Bowl appearances, winning 5, they have been to the post-season 25 times, and team is valued at $1.7 billion. Since the Steelers were founded in 1933 they have made 25 post-season trips, made 7 Super Bowl appearances, winning 6, and the team is valued at $1 billion(post-season and super bowl appearances both contain numbers from pre-1966).

http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_NFL_t...wl_appearences http://dallascowboys.designbypam.com/8_super_bowl.html This is not accurate since the first Super Bowl was played on January 15, 1967. You can't have Super Bowl numbers from pre-1966 since the first Super Bowl was not played until January 15, 1967.

Re: NFL's greatest franchise.
The Patriots had there time in the spot lite, you gotta hand it to them for there dynasty, they were simply unstoppable. The Steelers on the other hand, 6 rings is a very significant accomplishment. Also they are always a contender to be in the playoffs every year.

Honestly bandwagon plays a huge part in fan-base. This year being either Indi or NO.
