A seventh division also doesn't drive much competition considering that most of the players at this level are only improving -very slightly-, if at all, so the same results are going to be expected.

A six division tournament with a huge mix of people could potentially spawn a few people who push harder to improve their skill in an effort to make it to a very vicious top 8 lineup. This is better in the long run.

Agree completely, now I'm deciding if I want to be placed in D5 to be a super-underdog or D4 and be near the top to start..

Old rivals from D3 in the 5th official tourney, even though we didn't know each other then. I came in 10th, lets see how we fair, since both our skill has increase 10 fold.
